Luxury RV near Duluth, state parks for hiking, and ATV trails

38 foot Luxury RV located on a small 5 acre lake. RV has air conditioner, power hook up, water, and septic.

Large deck. 1 King size bed, Pullout couch for 2nd bed. full size household refrigerator, 3/4 bathroom, electric fireplace, washer/Dryer.

Deck was recently added.

Canoe, kayaks, and paddle boat available.

Lake has a sand bottom with a thick layer of organic (mud). There is a raft to swim off of.

Microwave, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, bedding, and towels are provided.

RV shares the property with 2 other cabins.

On the far side of the lake and behind the woods there is a train track, so occasionally you will hear the country sounds of a train passing in the distance.

TV signals are weak because of the distance from the broadcast towers in Duluth. Expect little, if any, TV reception. We provide a substantial number of DVD's and free internet.

Stayed here for a wedding that was occurring down the road. Unfortunately, I ended up very sick with a migraine on the second day of my stay. I was able to close everything up and darken the area and my surroundings were kept quiet and uninterrupted while I recovered.Just a couple of comments about the experience:There are a couple of soft spots in the floor by the entryway and in the bathroom. I'm not sure if the carpet it unclean or if its color makes it look that way. I would recommend replacing it and reinforcing where there are soft spots in the floor.When I checked in I found no instructions on where I was to go to check in. The owner eventually met me and walked me through the RV. I would recommend that signage or some sort of advanced communication is utilized to avoid confusion at check-in.The owner ran me through all the bells and whistles and switches for the RV upon arrival. Unfortunately, I experienced a bit of sensory overload and was able to remember very little when I needed the information. I would recommend creating a write-up that stays in the RV so a person can refer to this for a reminder of details later. For example, I was never able to turn off the lights in the sitting area as I could not find a master switch and I could not reach the individual switches on the ceiling.All-in-all, the visit was quiet and peaceful and I would visit this again and I have recommended it to others.

Clean RV. Luxurious as listed. Great location. Serene. Limited cell services, great for unplugging and re-energizing. Recommended rental.

This was affordable for our traveling hockey family! Everything you could need was provided. It was tucked back in the woods, very quiet and private. The camper was clean and tidy, we hope to visit again.

Jeff was an amazing host! We needed life jackets, and he provided them I needed a blender and he provided that!!! We felt so at home here. The RV was absolutely amazing. We had everything we needed to cook nice meals with plus a grill outside supplied with gas. There were towels and extra blankets and there were pillows. The RV was comfortable and cozy. We stayed here during a ball tournament, but it was really a nice little family vacation at the same time. During a few hours of rain, we cozied up and watched a movie in the living room with the ambiance of the fireplace light. We cooked s'mores over the campfire, and Jeff provided the wood and kindling for that! We took the pedal boat out on the little lake. I wouldn't recommend it for swimming, at least my boys wouldn't get into it. It was full of blood suckers! But we sure had fun on the little lake. Make sure you bring some heavy duty bug spray! As far as the train goes it isn't terrible. It did wake me up one night, but I was sleeping pretty restlessly. The next night I didn't hear it at all. There are links to fish on within 10 mi, and there is a nice river with a waterfall close by as well. There is a general store down the highway. The general store can provide you with just about anything you could think of that you could need. This was just a real nice place to get away and relax to be sure. And as I said, Jeff was a wonderful host and I would recommend his properties to anyone!

Grandma’s Weekend

Rented the RV for my sister and I during GM marathon weekend. It is remote but love the area, so peaceful. Host is easy to work with and provides the necessary communication to navigate the rental. I’m already booked for next year. Thank you.

Great base camp

Easy access with truck and trailer for ATV’s. Rode the Nemadji forest and into Wisconsin on the Gandy Dancer. Trails were great and a good place to come back to at night. Property also has 3 other units for rent.

Family Reunion/30th Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful stay. So impressed with the condition of the RV, appliances, cookware/knives & bathroom. Beds were comfy, dog friendly. Great place to hang out and unwind after family activities in Duluth. We enjoyed a lovely fire with our cousins. Planning on coming back next year-can't go wrong here!

Relaxing RV stay

This was an awesome place to stay for two nights. We were out in the country but only 30-40 min from Duluth. This RV has everything you could need from kitchen supplies to towels to pancake mix to Netflix to a full-size refrigerator and freezer. Jeff was great! He showed us how everything worked in the RV and even helped us fix our car.

Fun peaceful family getaway

100% would recommend to everyone whether a couple or family with small children. This place was clean, peaceful, and welcoming. The boat and kayak are fun to use and you cant beat smores at the firepit. The host was very sweet and welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay. Duluth is an easy drive without the hustle and bustle. You wont be disappointed

Weekend Getaway

Was under the impression we would be a little more secluded and closer to the water. There was no beach either so no swimming. The RV was nice & well stocked with necessities. The deck was lovely! We enjoyed playing yard games & having a fire. Ot was a great weekend away.

Beautiful fall wheeling destination

Jeff was an absolutely amazing host. The property was beautiful and everything was as expected. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay and even went as far as helping us fix a broken ATV.

A very enjoyable experience not far from Duluth (easy for a day trip). Enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors on a canoe and kayak, with an evening fire and throwing the ball around with my kids. Enjoyed the indoors with cleanly interior some card and board games while it was raining.

Duluth get away

My family and I were coming up to Duluth to attend a work function but didn’t want to spend an arm and leg on renting in Duluth. This RV was luxurious, had ample space for the 5 of us and our dog. Jeff is a wonderful host and promptly helped to ensure any questions we had were answered. We would 100% recommend him to others!
