Captain's Quarters, one of four residences making up Spinnaker's Vacation Cottages, is located 250 steps to the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of Holmes Beach.

Captain's Quarters is the largest of the residences and boasts colorful and beachy decor in the kitchen, dining and living rooms. Each of the three bedrooms features a king sized bed and TV and includes crisp linens and plush towels in the bathrooms from our professional linen service. Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home.

Spinnaker's Vacation Cottages are four individual residences with shared outdoor space. The backyard features a heated pool surrounded by pool loungers and Adirondack chairs. Guests will enjoy the gas grill and dining poolside under the umbrella at the patio table.

Captain's Quarters is a dog friendly home! If you have added a dog to your reservation under the number of pets, the fee of $150 per dog plus tax has been added to your reservation total. Please note, there is a 2-dog limit, some restrictions apply.

Catch the nearby free island trolley, which travels the entire length of the 7 miles of the island. Hop on and off at your leisure and explore shopping, dining and the beaches. The perfect location for your next beach vacation!

This is our 3rd year staying in this cottage and we love it! It is always clean, well stocked and perfect for our family's needs. It has been completely renovated since the hurricane and the new kitchen is just lovely. We enjoyed cooking almost all of our meals here and it had everything we needed. I'm sure we will be back next year!!

Beach Cottage Feels

Perfect for a week get-a-way! We had 4 adults and 2 small Bostons. Captain’s Quarters has its own little yard for the pups- just be aware it’s right along the walking path so ours were easily ‘distracted’ with all the foot traffic. Floor plan is wide open for hanging out together comfortably playing music, cards, board games, etc. Everything you need for cooking meals (I brought my own chef knife and should’ve brought a cutting board). Lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance too. Boat ramp right up the road. Short walk to the beach with an outdoor shower and pool when you get back. And comfy beds to end the day! Couldn’t rate communication because we had zero problems, but number is on counter and regular emails were sent to me

Girls trip made it out of group chat!

Our girls trip had a fabulous time on Anna Maria island. We stayed in the captian quarters, which was clean, comfortable and great location in Holmes Beach. The pool is a salt water pool and very refreshing for afternoon swims. We rented beach bikes, and were able to bike to most places on the island from our house. I highly recommend this place for your stay on the Island.

Lots of laughs

This property has recently been remodeled because the listing was different than what we arrived to! Everything was perfect! The courtyard was perfect for morning coffee! A short walk to the beautiful beach using the chairs well stocked from the VRBO. The heated pool was amazing to relax in after the beach. Beds were comfortable too!

Exactly as Advertised

We had a girls trip and chose this property due to 3 large bedrooms and a private pool. The walk to the beach was super easy and I went there every morning for a sunrise stroll. We loved the kitchy decor and felt right at home there. We didnt require anything extra or encounter any problems so I cant make a fair assessment of the rental office.

We love this cottage!

This was our second year staying in this cottage. We absolutely love it! The decor is so cute and everything is clean and well kept. Last year we had 5 people and this year 6 and it was still perfect. We love this part of the island and the closeness to the beach….just a short walk! I know we will continue to return to this cottage unless our family grows more and we need more space.

Lovely place but had some issues due to hurricane Debby

The place was as beautiful as shown in the listing. Spacious and comfy and felt like a home away from home. We did have issues our first few days there. Because of hurricane Debby the house flooded a little and we were out of power for 18 hours. Definitely no fun and put a damper on our vacation .

Awesome beachy place, so close to the water!

Our family of five enjoyed a wonderful stay at the captains quarters—all the amenities were as described, pool was great and beach access is super close. Very comfortable and attentive rental. Highly recommend and we would come again! Thank you!

Great place to stay!! This is a great location to beach access. House is clean and comfortable. Would recommend and would stay again! The shared space was still private and we couldn’t hear neighbors at all from our space. Property management company was super responsive to any question and we had the best time!

Just like the pictures!!!

The Captains Quarters was so perfect and roomy. Entire house was very clean and stocked. Super close to the beach. Beds were comfortable. Pool was great. Just wish the hot tub worked (no heat or bubbles). You will want to bring some extra toilet paper if staying a week.
