"Hello! We just got back from staying at this hotel. It’s our 4th year, and this was probably our last. We have always had great things to say about this hotel, but didn’t experience the same this time. Our door would not latch unless we slammed it. There were a couple times we left and didn’t realize it wasn’t latched. It was extremely hard to open our door (room 303). 2 of our outlets wouldn’t work. "Great location, great staff! Walk out your room to the beach! Two lounge chairs and an umbrella right off the deck. Ocean is maybe 15 yards away. Only down side is no microwave. Publix is close and the fridge was perfect size for storing snacks and drinks."

"My wife and I have never been to Anna Maria Island and Holmes beach before so we chose the Cedar Cove Resort. It was a small resort with an older touch such as the buildings and such. It kinda took us back a bit at first but we settled in just fine. The Flamingo suite we stayed in was nice but very small and had some older decor. The suite did come with all the amenities fridge, electric stove, sink coffee maker which by the way was a Nespresso machine which was cool but not everyone likes...

"Loved the updated room and cleanliness! The location was absolutely perfect, just a skip and a hop to the beautiful beach! The lawn area activities were superb as well, everyone enjoyed it!"

"The room was modern and clean. Only negative there was there wasn’t a microwave. The issues were that the check in office is at a different location with no parking. After walking to the office, I learned that parking near your room is also not guaranteed. We did get lucky and found a spot but did not want to drive anywhere and loose our spot."

"The location is wonderful! We had a gulf-front unit, and they all have a perfect view of the Gulf... we watched the sunset each night from our balcony. You are 10 feet from the sand, and 75 feet from the pool... so convenient! The staff is extremely helpful and polite. The lounge is super convenient as well for snacks / drinks while sitting by the pool, or to just enjoy a meal without having to drive anywhere."

"Absolutely terrible experience. Our Father’s Day weekend was completely ruined. Upon checking in, we immediately noticed the AC in our room wasn’t working. After reporting the issue, we waited over four hours before being provided with a portable AC unit. Unfortunately, the unit was incredibly loud, making it nearly impossible to sleep. "A wonderful place to stay! Peaceful, spotless, and incredibly relaxing. The staff is amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. The best part is that the hotel is right in front of the beach, where you can enjoy complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and everything you need for a perfect day by the ocean. I highly recommend Silver Surf Gulf Beach Resort. 100%! 🌴☀️"

"I loved the location, the amenities, and the entire room. Immediately walking into the resort, I felt like I was at home. The room had everything we needed, from beach towels to beach chairs and umbrellas, even a coffee maker and refrigerator. The tub and shower were phenomenal. The location is walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants and desert options. The beach is mere yards away."

"Company owns several properties . Only one employee to answer phones for the whole system Could never reach anybody all day by calling Room wasn’t ready as promised , keys don’t work, had to wait 30 min for worker to bring new keys Not a private beach , as described . No nearby umbrellas or chairs. Desk person seems uncaring . Would not return . Perhaps it’s their “ lower end “ property so nobody cares about customer ."
