"We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return"

"From the moment I arrived, the scenery was beautiful. The lake with various different birds, the trees, forest etc.
I loved the cabin, just perfect along with the outdoor fire pit/bbq where you buy logs through an app.
I will definately be visiting again. Loved it 😊😊😊😊😊"

"Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly.
Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub.
Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region.
The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us)
Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs."
