"This property was very clean and nicely decorated! It was located in a peaceful, quiet area with views of the mountains and lake. But it was also conveniently close to Scottsboro for shopping, dining, etc."

"Our Alabama vacation adventures have come to an end but the memories made will surely last a lifetime. Our week was full of everything from fishing, fire flies, fishing, NASA Space Exploration, fishing, Veterans Memorial museum, fishing, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, fishing, and a little swimming. We had the most fun trying lures and finally getting the catch we wanted. We lost a few to the gar & hydrilla but we caught a Guntersville giant, and Alyssa caught her biggest bass ever on a tiny hook...

"Cozy cabin with beautiful views. Mr. Dave was very nice and and took care of our every need. We will definitely be coming back to stay! Perfect getaway spot. Close to everything we wanted to do. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Above the Clouds Chalet! The house was spacious and full of unique antiques for us to look at and enjoy. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with most everything we needed down to paper towels and garbage bags. They had even supplied our favorite coffee for the coffee maker! We used the deck quite a bit, eating our meals outside, as well as using the hot tub which was on the end of the deck. The deck supplied you with views of the valley, no matter the time of day....

"Nice quiet location with super access to the lake. Clean and neat. The snack basket awaiting us was a nice touch. We've marked this in our favorites for a future visit. Lack of wifi wasn't a problem since there is cell reception. "

"First time staying in Alabama. We rent vacation houses many times per year and I can say our stay here was wonderful. It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! We lost power one night (the entire area, not a house issue). I messaged the host and received a response within minutes (at 9:30 pm). She called the power company and it was back on within 30 minutes. We also requested...

"The cabin was clean and cozy. Everything was exactly as described. The location was perfect. A few hooks on the wall to hang a robe or wet towels would be a great addition. "

"The house on the lake was perfect for our family. It was a quiet area to just relax and play in the water. The private dock was a good area to fish off of, or to just jump in and float around. This is definitely a place we want to visit again. "

"I would choose again this property. The location was perfect, we needed to be close to our newly acquired home In Sequatchie, The cottage was so cute, in an area that was peaceful and close to the interstate. Me and my dogs really enjoyed the comfort of this cottage. "

"Teepee was very clean and the indoor pool was wonderful. Very quiet and relaxing stay."

"We used the house as a “base station” while we explored the area, like the cast iron lodge in South Pittsburgh and the different attractions in Chattanooga. The house was located close enough to be roughly 20-30 mins away from all the attractions but far enough away so that we could have peace and quiet."

"Husband & I stayed for a long weekend. Location was close to stores, had everything we needed & many boat launches. Although we didnt have our boat this weekend, it wouldn't have been an issue. Covered boat parking with power/lights. Cabin is on a busy hwy, road noise was loud during the day. Easy to find & easy/fast communication with owners. Would rent here again but only a cabin towards the back. Glad we stayed, thanks for having us!"
