"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"We had a great stay, weather very mixed and appreciated Railway Cottage being warm and cosy. Oughterard was a great base foe exploring and provided all we needed - Sullivan's cinnamon buns are addictive! Thanks to Joe for info about the area and Carmel for the scones. We were made very welcome by hosts and their lovely dogs."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Teach Titanic cottage. It was thoughtfully renovated keeping some of the original elements of the old historic cottage yet thoroughly modernizing it. "Of the many visits to Ireland I've had, this could probably be my favourite cottage of all. The location is absolutely amazing how it's tucked away between the hills. The inside was very cute and cosy. Loved the nearest town, Oughterard, which had a lovely coffee spot, several grocery options, and an amazing pub. I didn't want to leave, and can't wait to come back."

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Our family of four spent three nights at Oakleaf Cottage and loved it!! The home is cozy, with all the accommodations including a full kitchen large living room and washer/dryer. The views are fantastic. Aine was so helpful offering recommendations for the many, many delicious restaurants in Westport. "Our stay was really nice. Make sure you navigate to the exact coordinates provided by the host on Google maps. Attempting to navigate to the address will take you about 1/2 a mile (1km) away. There are few extra amenities at the house. Towels were in very short supply, and one had a hard spot on it. There were no washcloths. There were very few cleaning materials. "Mooie ruime woning; interieur iets gedateerd; te weinig activiteiten in onmiddellijke omgeving; gebruik wagen is noodzakelijk. Rustig gelegen, mooi uitzicht.Niet erg proper; zeker niet de kasten in de keuken ; alsook niet het te gebruikere eetgerief. Aanrekening van 150 euro voor onderhoud is duidelijk teveel.Poetsdame was nog vollop bezig toen we arriveerden; is nog blijven werken tot 1³8u30."
