"Property is right on the Coast highway. A very old property. It is managed by a WONDERFUL woman. It's a slightly odd, multi-use property, that had been renovated at one time. Our second floor room was huge, contained 2 glorious double beds, t.v., microwave, mini fridge. One overhead light with a fan and a window with no screen. Two working plugs, too! "Room was clean and smelled nice. Check in was fast and they offered free coffee, tea and water at all hours, which was great, and a coffee bar (think mini Starbucks) for free at 8a. "My 77 year old husband had to haul all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. There are no elevators, no A/C, the TV wasn’t working properly, the shower was mis-labeled H/C, the ceiling fan was unstable and squeaking loudly, there was mold in shower and on bathroom floor, and there were two entrance doors but only one was accessible so we climbed more stairs unnecessarily. Skip this place!"

"The staff, especially Emily and Carrie, were so kind and helpful. They really added to the positive experience. The hotel is older but the rooms don't smell old! The walls are thick so you can't hear what's going on next door! Their prices are fair and they don't gouge you! Amazing sunset views. We would definitely stay here again."
