"Overall, my stay was okay, but two major issues stood out. First, the towels provided in my room appeared unwashed and stained. Second, while making waffles during breakfast, I saw a large roach on the floor right next to the food station. Aside from these hygiene concerns, the stay was fine."

"It was an okay stay for a night or two or sleep. We had a few issues but nothing that made it unbearable. It was for sure an older hotel that needs some TLC but also wasn’t terrible. The TV in the room was broke with a black line down one side, the light in the bathroom flickered, the toilet wasn’t stable, and he coffee machine at breakfast was not working. Overall it was just okay, able to sleep, shower and be comfortable for a night."

"The Microtel Inn in Ponchatoula, LA, said that Expedia never paid them for my stay May 18th-19th due to a "glitch" and claimed to cancel my reservation then tried to get me to pay them directly, but it didn't show up in Expedia and somehow was modified to the 17th which I didn't book. So, it still charged me so I had to dispute it with bank. Nasty outside propery, sketchy clerks. Awful service and I don't think they were telling the truth at all, I think they were trying to get me to pay twice...
