"The room and the hotel are lovely. There were a few issues that we wish had been better. The TV kept blanking out, was hard to navigate channels and was way too low to bee seen from bed while watching the news! Minor, but worth mentioning. "Wonderful stay at the Freyja Guesthouse and Suites for my family of four. Clean and comfortable family suite with a private bathroom. There is a lovely lounge with snacks and drinks to purchase. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. Location can't be bit in the center of Reykjavik and in walking distance of all main attractions and restaurants. Would highlighly recommend."

"Check-in was a bit confuse due to the address of the property, Cleaniess: The 2 bathroom sinks in both bathroon has a funky smell. Other than that the bathrooms are cleaned. The wood floor is dirty and a bit old that need to be updated. Host: Very nice, very responsive and accommodation for us to check in a bit early on arrive date and check out a bit late on depart date. Location: very convinience close to shopping groceries, restaurant and bus stop."

"What a fabulous place to stay. We really enjoyed our time there and found it a convenient location to walk to downtown Reykjavík while also being close enough to free street parking. The only “issues” we had were with the trash/recycling, as we couldn’t find the key card that was supposed to be in the apartment, and we were unclear on whether or not the there was a cleaning service. We were there for over two weeks and didn’t notice any cleaning or changing of towels. These were really minor...

"Just had a 3-night stay at ION City. Staffs were all friendly and amazing. Location is in the core downtown tourism area of reykjavic so that could be pro or cons depending on what you like. It's a little bit loud outside especially if the room is towards the street, but window is reasonably sound-proof. One issue was that when I first arrived there were a few blood drops in the bath towels, but after I raised that issue the room service was all good for the rest of the stay. Overall 4/5. "
