"Had a great time at the cottage. Lake Hawkins is a beautiful getaway. We caught plenty of fish and made lots of memories with our 2 year old grandbaby. The dock and fire pit were our favorites. Red Rooster Ice house is definitely a must out to eat option. We loved it. "

"We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday with family. The house was very accommodating. Plenty of space for our group of 20. Despite getting rain the first two nights and the temps dipping into the 70s, we had a great time. Wish we had been able to enjoy the pool a little more but by the third day of rain the water was a bit chilly. The kitchen was well stocked as were the restrooms. "We all loved this home so very much that we are thinking about already booking for next summer. From the perfect location, beautiful home and decor to the relaxing back patio to hang out on and wait for deer to wander up. The house was so clean with plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with any dishes we may have needed. Host was friendly and communicated so very well. Can't wait to return!! "

"This home is gorgeous and very spacious. The sun room windows look out to the lake and is the best view in the house. The kitchen was well equipped. The steep hill to the lake may be difficult for some, but we had no problems. The kayaks were easily accessible. The Bald Eagles on the lake were an unexpected bonus for this property. The owners communication was excellent! We would definitely stay there again."
