"What an incredible property! We stayed in the triple room which was spacious, clean and organized. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating (especially breakfast). The hot springs were glorious and while I didn’t cold plunge in the pond, others did and it was scenic and wonderful. "

"Beautiful property! The guesthouse was spacious and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly. We took advantage of the restaurant on site and we were glad we did. Excellent food! The broccoli soup was delicious and the cod was some of the best we had during our trip. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. A driving tip: watch out for sheep as you are driving to and from this property. They cross the road quickly and we even came across some laying in the road. "

"Many thanks for another wonderful stay at Hotel Buðir. Best location on the Snaefellsnes peninsula, spectacular views in every direction. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed with amazing views from every window. Either you're facing the mountains or the sea, or both. Best part - Hotel Buðir has the best bed linen and pillows of any hotel I've visited to date. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They went out of their way to ensure I had the best possible experience....

"A very cool hotel. Our triple room was spacious, and the beds are very comfy. The owner was very welcoming. The only thing is there are not much around the area, but it’s only 15-min drive to Stykkishólmur where you can get all you need."

"We stayed here for 2 nights and loved every minute. The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. The cottage itself was well equipped and spacious. We enjoyed cooking on the grill with the breathtaking views from our front porch. It is in a great location with many tons a short drive away. We would highly recommend staying here and if we ever come back to this area (I hope we do), we will certainly stay here again."
