"To say that this couple went beyond expectations to make sure that we were safe and comfortable- there are no words. Their home was beautiful, updated, and the coolest place we’ve ever stayed, according to my grandchildren(which is amazing since we had just spent a week in a cabin in the Smokey mountains). If you have the chance book it, it’s an hours drive to many places. Thank you for your service, your hospitality was amazing!"

"This place is adorable! I stayed here for almost 2 weeks with my husband, our two children (a toddler and a baby), my mom, and our dogs. We found it to be comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet and cozy, yet still big enough for everybody to spread out. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, he was quick to respond to all my questions. We very much enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Hinesville, particularly if traveling with children and pets."

We did not cook meals because we ate with family in the area, but the kitchen seemed to have everything one would need. It was a convenient location while visiting our son and daughter in law. "Nice little place in a really quiet, convenient location in Hinesville. House was clean and cozy, way too much room for the two of us, but how often can you say that? Well equipped so you can cook your own meals, modern laundry, and well-outfitted backyard to include an in ground pool, fire pit, table and chairs. "This review is LONG overdue! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Yellow Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Red Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Yellow Door Lodge was the "next door" house to the "main" get-together house. But that did not deter family from checking it out! As family arrived in Savannah and then...

"Convenient location about 30 minutes outside Savannah and an hour outside Hilton Head. A Kroger and several food options within 5 minutes. House is located on a private lot in a small, quiet neighborhood. Fenced in backyard is great for kids. All the essentials were provided, only suggestion would be a mop/Swiffer in the event of spills. The washer and dryer, and provided supplies, were really beneficial. "After enjoying time each day at our Family Reunion. It was very relaxing to come back to the Savannah Retreat and spend hours talking with my kids. The house had enough space for 8 very comfortable. The location was minutes from the hotel the rest of the family was staying in. Thanks so much look forward to next year "
