You looking for an authentic Hawaiian Nautical experience? Let the Whaler`s Inn be your perfect spot to relax, set your sails with us and put down your anchor. We are located right in Downtown Hilo just Minutes away from Shops, Restaurants and just a stroll to the Ocean of Hilo Bay.

Modern Open concept with brand new bathroom and kitchen awaits you! Come stay with us and let us know if you have any questions we happy to help!

Our place is perfect for family and friends or business. Brand new renovated and well equipped with all the essentials you will need after a day of exploring - you will LoVe your stay!

You will feel our nautical details in every room and can learn a lot about Whales at the same time if you like. The koholā (humpback whale) was well known to the early Hawaiians.

Our space offers a brand new Kitchen - designed in the colours of blue, white and Autumn Blush. The kitchen is well equipped as well. Another Highlight is the new renovated Bathroom especially the Shower - Throughout the home we have nice lighting plus ceilingfans and curtains in every room. The rooms are Breezy and have all the privacy you need to relax. Another Extra of this Home is also that we added a Brand new Washer and Dryer a guest feature as well as some Beach Essentials like Beach Towels for you to use so you do not have to bring it.

You can self Check-in with our Smart Lock. Easy Self Check-in via Code.

We are always available for our guests via phone call or text message or simply through the messenger just reach out to us we are happy to help.

Our single family home is located in Downtown Hilo with an upstairs and downstairs. You will have the Street level House all to your self with 2 Private entrances.

Such a cute place, very clean and inviting. Located in a quiet neighborhood very centrally located. Just a quick walk into town. We came for our son’s wedding at Honoli’i beach park. Would I stay her again? Yes!!!

Great place to stay right in the heart of Hilo. Whaler's Inn earns its name; part of the enjoyment of staying here is discovering all the little nautical details throughout the house. For example, the drainer basket in the kitchen sink has a little whale on it; later in the stay, I noticed that the TP dispenser was a whale's tail. Very fun, and always in good taste. Recommended.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay! The communication with the host and their recommendations were incredible. The house itself is spotless. The beds are comfortable and it is a quiet location. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and the house was simply lovely.

Great stay, exactly what we needed for our time in Hilo. The A/C is window units, which worked well. We chose to have the windows closed and use the A/C since it was very rainy at night. Beautifully decorated, attention to detail, clean, and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Es verlief alles unkompliziert, die Unterkunft war sehr schön und genau so eingerichtet wie auf den Bildern - sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Außerdem haben lokale Leckereien als kleine Aufmerksamkeiten auf uns gewartet: toll! Trockner und Kaffeemaschine hätten sauberer sein können, kann aber auch an den vorherigen Gästen gelegen haben.

The location was very close to activities in Hilo, and the host was very responsive and informative about restaurants and other amenities around the area. The house was clean and she even left little gifts for us ! Would recommend this cute house if you’re staying in Hilo for a few days.

Very pleasant place, close to everything

The property has a spaceous kitchen/great room area and a very comfy couch. The kitchen has everything we needed and we were able to have several meals at the property. The shower is large and comfortable. The two bedrooms have a queen bed with plenty of room for suitcases, etc. The overall decor is lovely and interesting. We enjoyed working the puzzles and apreciated a chance to play Crimes Against Humanity.

Easy, Delightfully Quaint, Clean, & Generous.

So close to it all…necessities, restaurants, shopping, waterfalls, all the things; felt like everything was a 10 minute trip at most. We felt right at home. Communication from host was concise, consistent, and ahead of schedule. We were given pertinent details and pictures of the location so we could find it easily after a long flight (we were exhausted) as well as recommendations on where to go. Love this place! Also…it’s adorable.

Cute House, Great Location, Well-Equipped

We had a great stay at Whaler’s Inn! It is so cute and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay! Loved the welcome goodies! (Thank you!). Only thing I’d point out is the listing says it has a double sofa sleeper…this is incorrect. It has 2 queen beds and a SOFA (they did provide sheets and a pillow for said sofa). We are a family of 5, so that was a disappointment that one of the kids ended their vacation on a sofa, but knowing this ahead of time, I would book this home again! It was perfect!
