"Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink."

"We arrived to find no area to park. Area was terrible ! Every other home had surveillance cameras and beware of dogs signs. Neighborhood had litter strewn all about. I live and work in Detroit michigan so I know what a dangerous neighborhood looks like and this was extremely unsafe. "Very clean apartment, easy communication with owner, just a little confusing on how to enter the VRBO but with the help of a very friendly waitress from Fenicci's we figured it out quickly. "There were seven of us staying at this property. Duane and Paula were great hosts. The accommodated a early arrival by one sibling and checked to see if we needed anything several times. The house is just as pictured in the listing. It was perfectly located for day trips to Hershey, Gettysburg, and the Flight 93 memorial. We highly recommend this location. "
