"This place was a perfect place to stay on my trip to. A few miles from Cloudcroft, but a quick drive up the mountain to the heart of the town with the added bonus of being close to the High Rolls hiking trails. When I had trouble with the entry code, the owner showed up in seconds to help me in. I didn't think the photos quite did the place justice - there were three beds and lots of comfy seating. "My recent stay at John's Yurt in High Rolls Mountain Park was absolutely breathtaking! Tucked away in a private, quiet, and truly beautiful location, it offered an unparalleled escape. The night sky was simply unbelievable – a blanket of what felt like a billion stars.The yurt itself is a marvel, equipped with everything you could possibly need and surprisingly spacious, never feeling cramped. "Nicely furnished home in the mountains of High Rolls NM. Ivanna,the host, responded immediately to any questions. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Great game room! Great for a family destination setting. We were able to enjoy our grandchildren and then hang out in the game room with our adult children after they were in bed. Highly recommended. "

"Beautiful property, well stocked for easy car camping. The temperatures were significantly cooler than in the valley below. There were sooo many blankets available in case we needed them.The first night was overcast, so we enjoyed the valley view. But the second night was clear and we basked in the stars and the Milky Way."

"We enjoyed our stay, the cabin worked well for our group and was a central point for visits to Lincoln Forest hiking trails, White Sands, Valley of Fires, and the Space Museum in Alamogordo. Kitchen had all we needed to make most of our meals. The front porch was great in the mornings and the hummingbird traffic was crazy busy. Grandkids were delighted to see wild horses and elk in the neighborhood. My granddaughter tells me to include her review - she loved it! "

"Overall, it was great. If you are a big person like me, the bed might be a problem. For me, it was not too comfortable. Other than that, the cabin was terrific—great location and host. "

"We had a nice stay at Teddy Cloud. The hosts have made every effort to ensure the comfort of their guests. Vicki has supplied everything one could possibly need for a great vacation (besides food and drinks of course)! The king bed was comfortable. The hot water and pressure was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized. The wrap around deck with the grill was relaxing and we were able to grill steaks and scallops one evening. The fenced in pet area was perfect for our dogs....

"Loved staying at this quaint cabin in the midst of spectacular pine trees and right off a fabulous trail head into the national park. The nights were quiet and peaceful and the accommodations were exactly what we were hoping for on our getaway vacation. Would love to come back!"

"We arrived on a Monday during a storm but after that it was great weather ahead!! The Eagles Nest was great and we loved every minute!! We will return and I think we're going to try to make this a yearly thing!! Cloudcroft is definitely a hidden gem. Y'all Rock!!!! "
