"We absolutely LOVED our stay at El Campo! We stayed 3 nights: 2 in El Segundo and 1 in El Primero. We actually liked the shelter of El Segundo a little better, but both were excellent - VERY clean, VERY comfortable …. My wife says “nicer than a motel room!” The road in and out was easily passable, the bathrooms were really clean and kept up well. "This place was a perfect place to stay on my trip to. A few miles from Cloudcroft, but a quick drive up the mountain to the heart of the town with the added bonus of being close to the High Rolls hiking trails. When I had trouble with the entry code, the owner showed up in seconds to help me in. I didn't think the photos quite did the place justice - there were three beds and lots of comfy seating. "Cozy little condo, perfect for a romantic getaway or relaxing weekend with your family! It is walking distance from everything and a great home base for beautiful evening walks. Only a 1/4 mile hike to the Lodge where you can enjoy fine dining and excellent drinks and if you’re a golfer, play a round on one of the highest elevation courses in the US."

"Our stay in Cloudcroft was absolutely wonderful, we had some car troubles on the way down but the stay at Bigfoot’s Bunkhouse helped make the trip feel smooth and relaxing despite the situation. Our host Damian was very communicative and helpful during our stay and we will definitely be in contact with him again for our next trip out to New Mexico! "

"Very comfortable home for 7 adults. Boys were drooling over the big screen TV! The spice collection in the kitchen was incredible! Just what we needed for spaghetti and chicken Alfredo! Super cute old fashioned book on cleaning tips (Haley’s cleaning hints) that I will no doubt purchase as a gift. Great place. Would stay again. "

"This was/is our favorite house in Cloudcroft and over the 50 years we’ve been visiting, we’ve stayed in 25 houses.We really enjoy the layout of the house and the porches. Of course the location gives you a view of the beauty of Cloudcroft and a love for the wildlife the surrounding forest protects. Norman is excellent and responded quickly to help us in enjoying our stay."

"Great location close to town and the trail behind the home is great. Loved sitting on the porch and watching wildlife. A treat to see wild horses and deer so close up. Would stay here again. "
