Lake Getaway at The Canyon

Recently renovated and thoughtfully updated, this 4-bedroom with a “man-cave”, 2-bath home sleeps up to 12 comfortably. It’s clean, inviting, and designed for real lake living — not stiff, untouchable perfection. The “man-cave” (one of the bedrooms) is a private retreat space that includes:
    •    King bed
    •    70” flatscreen TV (perfect for watching your favorite sports game)
    •    Massage chair
    •    Couch & loveseat sitting area

Important:
The man-cave is accessed by stepping outside from the main house and entering through its own exterior door. It is not connected internally.

Also, the “man-cave” does not have its own bathroom. Guests staying in this space will use one of the two bathrooms inside the main house.

Many guests love the added privacy and quiet separation. However, if you prefer all bedrooms connected internally or require immediate bathroom access from the room, please consider whether this layout is the right fit for your group.

Four additional bedrooms are located inside the main home. What Makes This Getaway Special:

Morning coffee tastes better with a lake view. Evening sunsets hit differently from this deck. Access down to the water requires stamina and steady footing. The trail down is part of the authentic lake experience. If mobility is a concern, this may not be the best fit. This is a true Arkansas lake house tucked into nature.

We have professional pest control, but being in the woods means you might see:
    •    A bug
    •    A field mouse
    •    Or wildlife outside

It’s part of being on a bluff above the lake.

If you’re looking for marble floors, room service, and Ritz-Carlton polish — we genuinely recommend booking a luxury resort instead.

All trash must be in trash bags and put in designated trash cans at the top of the driveway. Dishwasher must be loaded and started before leaving.

We had a great time. So quiet! The steps to the boat dock are tough to maneuver for older people or small children, but we did fine. Kitchen was very well stocked. Would definitely come back.

Second stay at this property this summer because they make it easy, it's comfortable for our family, adult kids and grandkids, it's convenient and has a boat slip. The house is a perfect size to spend time together but also have personal space. Kitchen is perfect for making meals and hanging out, all the extras that you may need. Great deck and a nice view, even through the trees in bloom. It is a hike to the boat slip but love having it right there. We did load up the kids and coolers in the truck and ran them down the street to the boat launch where we pulled the tritoon up on the sand and got everyone in easily. Boat launch is so convenient and not a bad size for a neighborhood launch. Can't brag enough on the site managers who are so friendly and available for any questions. Like staying at a friend's house. We will book again.

Perfect for our family

Our family, 9 including us, adult kids and 2 grandkids, loved the house and amenities. Plenty of parking for multiple cars and boat trailer. Two bathrooms were heavily used and never ran out of hot water. Kitchen and main living areas are open and perfect for cooking and hanging out. Bedrooms were exactly what we needed, especially the “man cave” where Nana and Papa had some privacy. Boat dock was great and one of the main reasons we chose the house. Love having that convenience. The location on the lake is quiet and we never worried about our boat. The hosts were amazing. The water was up and she even contacted me to make sure the path to the dock worked for us and make sure we were comfortable with everything. She really went above and beyond what I would expect with communication and flexibility. We have already booked another stay!

Beautiful Home

The communication with property owners was top-notch. This was a private, open concept home. We loved the views of the lake and it was nice to be able to dock our boat right outside of the house. The walk is very steep the dock, however, I was recovering from hip surgery and was able to navigate it. Would recommend.

Beautiful getaway

This is a beautiful spot. The home is fantastic. I specifically loved the kitchen and the deck. A great place to hang out and enjoy the wonderful view. I will definitely stay here again.
