Work house

The accommodation was clean. The house was well kept and pleasant. All the comforts of home for sure and the owner was great on communication and available for any issues

It was a great little house in the older historic homes in Hibbing. Had everything we needed and was clean recently updated.

Clean and convenient Location

The place was clean and described accurately. We had a small issue about the access code to enter the house, but Chris called back quickly and all was resolved. It was nice to be able to bring my dog for our stay in Hibbing.

perfume smell

Really turned off when we walked in to a very powerful smell of perfume scent throughout the house. I have some allergies and this impacted my stay. Also the legs were off of the couch and we had to turn it over and fix it. The location was great and communications with the owner were good. Furnishing were somewhat old and tired.

This was very clean inside. Communication with the host was poor from reservation until we finally got in. The hot tub was cool so we didn’t use it. When we tried to text the host regarding being locked out the number listed on the sight was not his which explains the lack of response when I had questions prior to checkin.

Nice cozy home

The home was nice, clean, comfortable beds. Supplied towels, soap, shampoo. No hair dryer. Stand up fan in each upstairs room. Air conditioner downstairs.We couldn't figure out how to heat water in hot tub. Quiet neighborhood. 1 mile walk to restaurants in town. I'd stay there again. towels. Shampoo, soap. No hair dryer.

Not up to expections

Being all 4 of us are in our 70s, we were not looking for a two story house but went with it because of the hot tub. The day after i madde reservations a review was posted about the tub not working. When we checked in 2 weeks later the tub was 78 degrees and would not heat. Very disappointing.

Do the owners exist?

I asked for an early check-in. When I got there, there were kids running out of the house. We called 3 times, left messages; no response. We waited around until check in. The dishwasher wouldn’t start. Someone left cigarette butts in the backyard as well as dip spit in the basement and an empty can of chew in the upstairs bathroom. The ceiling must have had a hole because bugs were conglomerated on the entry wall which also crawling with bugs. The kids were excited for the trampoline; it was a nice addition. The hot tub was warm, but the top was open when we got there and noticed there was no latch. The beds were comfortable but lights were not normal switches so we would expect with an older house. I think I would have been a little more understanding and happy if the owners would have responded to our phone calls and messages.
