Tree House Lodge-Real Log Mountain Paradise

Welcome to the Tree House Lodge. If you are looking for the ultimate getaway in a true log home, privately nestled amongst the trees in the mountains of Hiawassee Georgia, this is it! The Tree House Lodge is a unique mountain style log home with soaring 25 feet vaulted ceilings, a native stone fireplace, and all wood floors and ceilings. The main level has two luxurious bedrooms with an adjoining full Jack and Jill bathroom. Each bedroom on the main level has private access to the wrap around deck and hot tub just outside your door. This level, as well, has a fully equipped kitchen, stove with air fry oven, refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, hand built knotty pine cabinets, corian counter tops, and a beautiful copper backsplash. There is a screened in porch off of the king bedroom where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or beverage while hearing the relaxing sounds of nature and the babbling creek. The living room has a wraparound leather sofa, a cozy propane fireplace that is lit by simply turning the timer as you sit and watch your favorite show/movie on the 4 K Smart TV with Blu Ray DVD player. The lower level has two luxurious bedrooms as well, with a unique rustic style full bathroom. It also has a game room with regulation size slate billard table, air hockey table, and theater style area with a 65" smart television where you can watch your favorite show or movies on satellite or Netflix. There is a laundry room off of the king bedroom on bottom level with stackable washer and dryer. All bedrooms have a flat screen TV. The mountain lot is wooded with a creek at the back of the property. When you are on the deck, the tops of the large trees are within reach, making one feel that they are truly in a treehouse. The Tree House Lodge is conveniently located within minutes to Lake Chatuge, Bell Mountain, and Brasstown Bald-which is the highest mountain in Georgia. The lodge is also close to horseback riding, golfing, and is 3 miles from the Appalachian trail, 30 minutes from Helen, etc.. Or you can take a day trip through the great smoky mountain national park to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Cherokee on to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge where there are numerous activities such as Dollywood, shopping at one of the many outlet malls or stores, wildlife touring through Cades Cove etc.. Wintertime activities can also include snow tubing and skiing in Maggie Valley or Gatlinburg areas. Pigeon Forge now has year-round snow tubing. So, if you are looking for the ultimate getaway vacation in a privately located, real log mountain home with great reviews and accommodations, then you have found the perfect place. Come and enjoy a piece of heaven in the mountains with us at the Tree House Lodge. Please note, there is a 6-night minimum stay over Christmas and 4-night minimum stay in October (Leaf Season). All other dates are 3 nights minimum. RENTERS MUST BE 27 YEARS OR OLDER TO BOOK THE TREEHOUSE LODGE.

The cabin, was as described, well stocked with all of the necessities for cooking, cleaning, bathing, etc… The cabin was exceptionally Clean and very welcoming upon arrival. Anything you may need is only a short drive away. Angela was very accommodating, and a pleasure to speak with!!! Thank you very much !!! My family and I had a wonderful time!!! Highly Recommended!!!

The bottom floor was very cold even with 5 heaters running the bathroom door kept unscrewing at the henge the cabin was beautifully done but its more for looks not as much for comfort other then that it was a very nice

Adorable! Loved the screened porch off main bedroom. It is a steep drive to get to the cabin but after a few trips down the mountain, no problem! Communication w cabin owner was very easy & accessible. Highly recommend if you want peace and quiet.

Quiet, calming and not overdone! The cabin was a perfect size and was well supplied with all the extras - there was plenty of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, napkins, towels, etc. lots of pots, pans, appliances, and tableware. We loved sitting on the porches and listening to the birds. It was really a relaxing place to stay!

The pictures do not do justice to this place. We stayed here for our yearly girls trip and it was so peaceful and quite. We did some nearby trips into some of the towns and to the wineries close by. The cabin was well stocked with everything you may need. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin we really enjoyed it.

The home was beautiful and well equipped. The host was very kind and offered many interesting ideas for exploring the surrounding areas. The outdoor sitting area and the hot tub was very popular during our visit. Overall, this is probably one of the best VRBO homes we have experienced. Our group highly recommend this host and this home. Everything was top notch.

Weekend Getaway

Family of 8 for a weekend getaway. Enjoyed all amenities of the cabin and enjoyed hiking at Brasstown Bald and Anna Ruby falls in Helen. We also enjoyed the local veggie/fruit market. Great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Hiawassee cabin, no place like home. Even better!

Just got back from a long weekend stay at the Treehouse lodge which was very nice and there is a well marked sign at the driveway so it was easy to find. It was well furnished and the leather seating sectional around the fireplace was so comfy. We never felt cold inside though outside was cold. We played lots of pool downstairs which we all enjoyed and the table was in excellent condition. In fact everything in the house was top notch and was so detailed in the decorating. Washer and dryer also excellent! From here, downtown Hiawassee was 10 minutes. There is a nice weekend buffet 20 minutes away near Young Harris at the Brasstown Valley resort open to all. We road horses 20 minutes away at Chunky Gal stables in Haysville. Really recommend it and the owner Rob whi knows all the horses personally. Finally, for those who are addicted to pickleball, there are 14 courts just past downtown Hiawassee which we played even in the cold!

Beautiful place in Hiawassee

We loved our stay at this beautiful, well stocked cabin! The cabin was very comfortable and we were supper happy that it had 2 kingsize beds so each couple could be comfortable! There were TV's in every room with lots of DVD movies, tons of board games, a pool table, air hockey table, a hot tub, a nice screened porch, and a covered front porch with a swing and a nice grill and fire pit. Also the owner was quick to respond to any questions i texted her! We give this place an A t

Another great stay

Second time I have stayed here and it was a great experience again for the second time. The cabin location is perfect and the surrounding area is quiet. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of booking a stay.

Loved everything!

Our family so enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The feel was exactly like advertised - cabin feel with every amenity. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, super clean. We were surprised by the hot tub and used it every night after all our daytime activities. My favorite sanctuary was the screened-in porch outside of my bedroom. Morning coffee and a book in such a peaceful setting was my perfect site for a relaxing stay in the mountains. We will definitely schedule again.

Great Cabin!

I stayed at Angela's cabin with my husband, 3 kids, and my parents. The cabin is roomy and we all had our own space. The location is perfect and centrally located to so many great places! We went to Highlands, NC (at Angela's recommendaton, thank you!!!), Blue Ridge, Helen, and Mountain City. The cabin is well stocked with essentials and extras like spices, tin foil, and sandwich bags. We played pool every night and my kids loved the air hockey! My only complaint would be that it was somewhat dusty and the kitchen counters weren't cleaned when we arrived, but I believe the property is taken care of by a cleaning service so I don't blame this on the owner. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Angela's cabin and would love to return!!

Great Cabin in the mountains

Loved spending Christmas in the mountains, property was perfect for what we needed. The cabin was clean and pretty well stocked for what we needed. There is enough things close by to pick up food and other essentials that you don’t have to bring everything.

New Years Stay

We loved staying at the Tree House Lodge! It is such a great cabin and is even better than the photos. We had two families and everyone felt like we had plenty of room. The air hockey was a hit with my teenagers. We enjoyed hanging by the fire each night and it was very quiet area. We had a few minor issues and the owner was very prompt to resolve them. The cabin is close to a few great hikes, grocery store, brewery and Helen. I highly recommend the Tree House lodge!
