"A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained. My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking. There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking. Other than that I would recommend. "

"The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. "The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Central location close to the Beacon, markets, restaurants and other food outlets, and pubs. Enclosed yard with tables and seating. Soft but comfortable bed. Quite tight bedroom and bathroom but OK. Great breakfast options. Just a little noisy into the early hours but England had just won at football!"

"Fantastic staff, superb location and well equipped, if surprisingly dated rooms (by Marriott standards). Excellent, varied breakfast and good facilities. Marked down because the air conditioning in the rooms was nowhere near cool enough during a heatwave and because the food served for lunch/dinner was truly awful, embarrassingly so. I tried two separate dishes, the first was completely inedible and the second was, at best, cheap pub fare for an unjustifiable premium."

"Nice location and decent hotel. Positives were the location and the breakfast was good. Negatives lots of ongoing roadworks There was an extremely unpleasant smell in the corridors on floor 4. The superior room was very basic with saloon style doors on the bathroom which didnt give a great deal of privacy and when the light was on this lit up the room. Small dated television and very little storage in the room."

"Very noisy with each room having fire doors that slammed all night behind guests going to and from their rooms. No soundproofing from within the hotel, so could here people passing in the hallway. Little sleep had. There appeared to be what looked like cigarette ash in the shower, with the room also looking a bit dated and run down. On the plus side, very nice staff."
