"Before we arrived we were asked if it was possible that we could arrive a bit later at 5pm since they were struggling to get back on time to hand us the keys since they live next door, we agreed since you dont want to upset owners that live next door.
When they arrived they were very chatty about another business they own and how busy they were.
Good things about the property were the bathroom with a huge bath and separate shower and the comfy bed mattress. The kitchen has a lot utensils and...

"Andy & Penny gave a warm welcome. Thoughtfully designed Shepherds Hut in a very peaceful location. Bonus was an excellent pub within 5 min walk, food was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay"

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and hosts. The home is so well appointed, down to the silverware. Every detail is rich and inviting.
Please ask for the breakfast. If the weather is beautiful you can ask for breakfast in the garden. Fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, and home made warm from the oven croissants and chocolate croissants. For a very reasonable price.
Ask about watching a sunset from the ruins of a Roman fort! The owner has a wonderful map with local sites and...

"Our stay was spoilt by the unpleasant verbal and aggressive attitude of our neighbours. Because we had it transpired, parked in their designated parking bay on our first day. We did receive the instructions for the correct parking space for our property until the following day. I would suggest the correct bay is marked clearly with the house number, so future guests don’t experience the same rudeness and verbal abuse we did."
