"This place is a gem. The cabin was meticulously appointed. Everything looks as though it’s brand new. I would put this host in the top 1% of those I have encountered. They communicated well and proactively. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Not to mention that they’re just nice people. I even knocked off a bucket list item by catching my first gar here. I would definitely stay here again."

"This property continually canceled my booking for no real reason. They said my card was not going through, but all my other bookings went through on my same card with no problem. I tried to book this house three times and every time Expedia would say I still had the booking so I would go to check in and the property management company would say that they emailed me to let me know the booking was 😡 This was a huge inconvenience and left me with no where to stay twice on my trip. I finally just...

"Check in was easy, the beds were comfortable, and there was good off street parking. It's a fine choice if there are three or fewer people in your group and you don't want to go with a hotel. Some things I wish I had realized ahead of time: There are only three comfortable places to sit in the living room, a loveseat and an armchair. If you have more than three people, the others will have to sit on a backless metal barstool or the floor. The house is cooled by two small window units neither of...

"This property is amazing! It is set in the hills of the Ozarks not far from the lake and shopping, but very private on 3 acres bordered by woods, creek and hay field. We had too terriers with us and they roamed until their hearts were content and had a real time trying to catch a groundhog. It was a great adventure for them and totally wore them out.The check-in was flawless, as Cindy had the lights on and house ready for us. She was thoughtful to leave a goody bag for us with delicious...

"A phenomenal stay.
Great atmosphere; a truly unique experience with the artwork as well as tongue-in-cheek names for the spaces.
By far our favorite spot during our week-long travels across Missouri. Great location. An amazing house - a historic home in every sense of the word; and the best value of any place we stayed.
Coupled with exceptional places to eat or have a drink within walking distance, and even more within a 2-mile drive, staying at the Big House made Jefferson City our...

"Everything was great! Tia was incredibly quick with communication. The place was great! Wonderful experience! Not sure if there is a way to be more connected to the main building for ease with getting access to the amenities like the pool/fitness room and then coordination for garbage since there is no longer a dumpster.
