"The cottage was compact and well equipped for 2 people. I liked the quiet location and easy parking. I had two caveats: large downloads and streaming was prohibited on the wifi and guests were requested to change the bedding, make up the bed for the next guests arriving."

"It was nice and spacious. A lovely location. Issues - Firstly, we arrived to find dirty dishes, garbage still in the bathroom and overall not cleaned properly. This isn't an issue with the owner as they were responsive when we brought it up but still we had to clean. The dirty linens were left in the washer, which we understood would happen. We were expected to clean them, thats ok as we were leaving ours in the washer also. Our issue was we had no laundry detergent, on emailing the owners we...

"My wife and I spent four nights in this duplex cottage in the town of Hellnar on the Snaefellsbaer Peninsula. We were greeted by an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our first night. The place was comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities needed to feel like home for a few days. The views are stunning--the sea in one direction and mountains and the volcano that dominates the west end of the peninsula in the other. There are several little places to eat within a 5-10 minutes...

"Die Unterkunft und Lage des Hauses einfach traumhaft gelegen. Kompliziert meiner Meinung nach, dass man am Abreisetag noch die Wäsche waschen/ trocknen muss. Möchte man früh morgens los um die Fähre zu nehmen sehe ich dies als sehr umständlich. Leider war die Mikrowelle nicht sauber. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert."

"Das Bett war bequem aber etwas klein für zwei große Menschen. Die Vorhänge dunkeln nicht ab, daher war es zu hell zum schlafen. Sonst alles perfekt. Super ausgestattet und sauber."

"We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights, the first two nights of our holiday. The bedroom & balcony overlooks the sea. We saw 3 whales the first evening from the shore path. The second day we toured the peninsula & saw all of the sights. We had a wonderful couple of days. The cabin is well equipped & had everything we needed. We bought supplies in Bonus supermarket in Borgarnes on the way from the airport. The murals are interesting & worth a look. Rent a jeep if you’re heading out this...
