"A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. My only very small and easy to fix complaint was that all the amenities weren’t listed or were unclear. There is nowhere very close to eat or get groceries so we planned to only have a kettle. "Very nice apartments. Parking right in front of the apartment. Very clean. Indivudual washrooms so not sharing washrooms with other apartments. Very spacious inside. And many amenities in the kitchen like pots and pans to cook if you want, and a kettle etc. Highly recommend this apartment!!"

"Askot Cottage was amazing! We definitely wished we had stayed more than one night. Directions were clear, property was well illuminated, and entry was easy. I appreciated the fact that each cottage has its own EV charger and washer/dryer combo. We also had a great view of the northern lights during our stay! "

"Glamping experience with nice amenities all around and a really unique lounge area in the barn. The main area is a large building and has multiple bathrooms and showers. The facilities and kitchen were a little tight for the amount of people when full, but ultimately worked out fine. The big surprise was the barn lounge area. I definitely recommend spending some time in what is a really cool and unique underground area. Overall, was a comfortable and fun stay."

"Wonderful cottage with all the kitchen items you need - toaster, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely. Communication was good, and no issues at check-in. Not far away from the Golden Circle route. Would highly recommend."

"Alles genau wie beschrieben! Ein herrlicher ruhiger Ort, um nach langen Wanderungen zu entspannen. Terrasse direkt am See und wir haben von dort sogar Nordlichter sehen können :-) Super fanden wir außerdem, dass Kleinigkeiten wie Spülmittel, Seife, Backpapier und Gewürze vor Ort waren. Viele Grüße nach Island! "
