If you’re looking for a charming, cozy, pet friendly mountain retreat where you can relax after a day full of fun and adventure then look no further…our newly renovated hidden gem is exactly what you need.

We are located inside the gated Innsbruck Golf and Country Club Resort with 24/7 security. This community offers golfing at Valhalla's 18-hole semi-private golf course surrounded by beautiful mountain views and just minutes from the German themed town of Helen.

Our cabin is small, cozy, has a tree house feel and includes all the comforts of home. Our hidden gem offers 2 bedrooms with brand-new queen-size mattresses, 2 full baths, a living room, small bar and grill dining area, living room with propane fireplace, games, throw blankets to snuggle by the fire, fully stocked kitchen equipped with microwave, oven and stove top, full fridge, dishwasher, toaster, cooking utensils, pots and pans, tableware, glassware, silverware. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with 4 bar stools. We have free Wi-Fi for your use with smart TVs located in the living room and both bedrooms. (Use your own streaming subscriptions).

Enjoy relaxing on the front porch or dining on the back deck surrounded by nature with a seasonal view of the Golf Course and the 10th hole, back deck has a propane firepit if you want to sit outside on a crisp, cold day or night.
Both have a sitting area where you can enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea from our coffee bar.

The parking area right off the street can accommodate 3 vehicles and the house is street level, so no stairs are needed for entry, located in a quiet cul-de-sac.

We are minutes from recreational areas such as Unico State Park, hiking trails, kayaking, tubing down the Chattahoochee River, zip lines, gem mining, GA Mountain Roller Coaster and local vineyards and breweries. There are plenty of local shops to visit and don't forget to check out Betty's Country Store - all in town.


****Dogs Allowed, 1 dog less than 30 lbs unless approved prior to booking by hostess.

Non-refundable Pet Stay Fee: $35 per night.

Dog must be crated when left alone in the cabin, pet owners are responsible for any damage. Please be sure to pick up after your pet. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.***

FYI: The roads leading up to the cabin are all paved but they can be steep in some areas, so you may need an all wheel drive in the winter. Low-riding vehicles may present a problem getting to the cabin.

Wonderful Retreat

Hidden Gem is just that! We had a restful time tucked in the woods listening to birds and restoring our bodies and souls. The place is so beautifully decorated and clean; makes it easy to relax. Day trips to Anna Ruby Falls and into Helen and Sautee made afternoon outings a joy. Would return in a heartbeat. Maureen and Bill are excellent hosts and easy to reach with any questions.

My husband and I love staying here. The neighborhood is so quiet, which is nice for us since we are use to country living. The house inside is so cute and I love all the extras they offer in case you forget something or run out. This is our second stay here and highly recommend!

A Perfect Mountain Escape – Even for Our Cat!

We just returned from a 3-night stay at the Hidden Gem Cabin in the Innsbruck golf community of Helen, GA, and it truly lived up to its name. Tucked away in a peaceful, wooded setting but still close to downtown Helen, the cabin offered the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience.The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets. One of the biggest highlights for us was that they welcomed our cat! It’s hard to find pet-friendly places that allow cats, and we really appreciated that this cabin made it easy for the whole family to come along.Being inside the Innsbruck golf community also added a unique touch—well-kept grounds, a sense of security, and of course, quick access to a great course.Highly recommend for couples, small families, or anyone looking for a quiet mountain getaway (with or without a furry friend). We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Great little place close to downtown!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is so cute, and the fireplace is a nice addition and really provides a lot of warmth quickly. We also loved the little deck overlooking a hole on the golf course, and the little coffee bar area. The only thing I would say is that I don’t think the cabin is ideal for little kids. There’s a big flight of wood stairs to the upstairs bedroom, which doesn’t have a door. That made us a little nervous with our 3 year old. But everything was fine, and it ended up being a near-perfect stay. It was a fun long weekend!

Cabin is cozy and hosts are exceptional!

Before I even talk about how delightful our stay at the Hidden Gem Cabin was, I have to say that our hosts were the best I have ever had at any rental! Their communication and responsiveness were exceptional, and you can tell so much thought has gone into maximizing every inch of space and into making you feel you have a "home away from home." We loved the security of being in a gated community, and the cabin couldn't be cuter! We walked into an immaculately clean and fresh-smelling cabin, and found that our hosts had thought of everything we might need. We enjoyed the nice bed linens and towels and the comfort of the beds. The kitchen was well stocked (never stayed at a rental that had an entire spice rack available!) and we appreciated having the option of both single-brew coffee and a drip coffee pot. It's like staying in a tree house, looking out from the windows to the woods; very quiet and peaceful. A great place for a relaxing stay. Appreciated that our host (Maureen) had provided detailed written instructions with pictures to help us find our way (our GPS got "confused"/frozen several times so we were thankful to have the written guidance as well). So thankful this cabin was Pet Friendly -- our first time ever to take our fur baby with us as most rentals make it cost prohibitive. Can't say enough good things about this (aptly named) Hidden Gem!

Great time at Hidden Gem

Property was very clean. I enjoyed the drive up the mountain, very steep in some places. We could not get the fireplace going, texted and got an answer to flip switch but that did not do the trick.We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and actually had a great time.,

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was a perfect place to stay for a small party. Maureen and Bill were wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating and helpful. Their cabin is beautiful and cozy with lots of charm. My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed our stay. Helen is a beautiful town and we look forward to coming back and exploring more of the area.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

The cabin is located in a very nice gated community within 10 minutes of everything. The cabin is nicely decorated with unique knick knacks throughout. We greatly enjoyed our visit .and recommend it to others.

Cute and cozy cottage close to restaurants and shopping in Helen. Beautifully decorated (loved the Christmas tree and decor). Hosts were helpful throughout the process and was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay!

We loved this cabin in Helen, GA. Maureen and Bill were the most responsive hosts we have ever had with a VRBO rental. The property was absolutely adorable! It was very clean, newly renovated and decorated so cute! They left us a personalized gift upon check in and were so accommodating. We hope we can visit again. Staying at this property made our time in Helen perfect! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
