"Great stay stayed Friday to Sunday and overall great time very comfortable! There was a small hole in the wall from what I presume is rats but I seen no rat droppings or anything like that just the hole. "We stayed at this property for our 40th wedding anniversary. The stay exceeded our expectations. Aaron, the very nice gentleman who was managing the property, went out of his way to acquire a few items for my wife that she just mentioned in a casual conversation. That impressed us a LOT! Thanks again Aaron! Breakfast was excellent. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we travel to Galveston. "

"The gentleman at the check-In desk was very kind to switch our room to a downstairs I had asked for one on Expedia but didn’t realize the property doesn’t get the request, you have to call and ask for it. Room was clean and beds were comfey. There’s a really nice outdoor area to swim and visit. We will definitely stay there in the future. "

Staying at the 1890 Freeman house was like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts. ✨ The architecture is stunning, and the entire place was sparkling clean and impeccably organized. "The staff is super. Only complaint is there was a very loud family out at the pool very late at night or early in the morning and the night girl knew it and was “ oh did they wake you “ if she knew it she should have handled it prior to guests getting woke up. I totally understand family get togethers but……"
