"The house is beautiful. Very tasteful decor and open concept. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The back yard is large with so many mature oak trees and no close neighbors. We were 10 minutes from downtown Salado and shopping. We used HEB in Harker Heights, but Brookshire Brothers is closer. The hosts responded to messages immediately and were very helpful. It was a perfect stay. I’d love to do it again. "

"There were 3 of us one night, 4 the second night and still plenty of room for everyone. Loved how things were labeled, flashlights at all the right places "just in case". All light switches stated what breaker they were connected to. Can you come do this at my place? Easy to use the home abled or disabled. And appreciated the binder w restaurant suggestions!"

"Overall the property was good. Had a snafu the first night with an internet problem so the WiFi was down, but the host fixed it the next morning. We were able to get a ok signal with our hot spots so the night was not lost. Had a furry visitor. Local goat visited us. Sleeping accommodations were good. plenty of room for our group."

"Neighborhood seemed sketchy, but it’s located at the end of the road and has a gate. Trail to the lake was steep but it was a good workout. Kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils, even had a variety of spices and food! Rooms are very spacious and each room had an extra bed/mattress which was very accommodating for our huge family who travelled far. It had a fireplace and fire wood, life jackets and kayaks.
