"From when we arrived to when we left, we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was compact but spotless, with everything we needed We were picked up from the train station, they got us firewood so we could have a fire, more coffee whenever we asked. Georganne was an excellent host, and I'd stay there again."

"Unique old barracks turned into cabins. They are old but have so much character! Awesome location where you can sit outside and visit around a firepit. Don't expect luxury, that's not what it is, but it's clean, safe, quiet and one of a kind."

"Very clean. Host is great and very informative. Super close to East Glacier entry. Within walking distance to local General Store. Be nice to the local stray dogs. They are sweet and have a hard life. "

"Just what we needed! Amazing property with tons of room to spread out. We split the trip between national park lodges and this VRBO. It was so nice to do some laundry and have space for the whole family. The host is great - very detail oriented and available for anything you need. The property is nicely decorated, well maintained, and has everything you need. My wife wanted to cancel our other reservations and stay longer. If you are staying in East Glacier, this is the best choice!"

"We had an amazing stay!! Our family of 4 stayed in the Rising Wolf unit. It was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen, outdoor bbq and washer and dryer in the unit. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed using the lawn games and being about 25 minutes from trailheads in the Two Medicine area. "

"We first stayed at Lone Elk Lodge 10 years ago. We had such a pleasant experience then that when we decided to return to Glacier National Park this summer, Lone Elk Lodge was our first search. "This was the perfect little cabin to stay in while exploring Glacier National Park. It was right in the middle of both the East and West entrance allowing us to be able to explore both sides without having to drive too far. The cabin was cute and spacious. We enjoyed having a kitchen to be able to cook in. We loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the views, however, we did wish there was a table for eating but we made do. "Perfect little house! Great location to explore west side of GNP…great food trucks and bakeries nearby"

"Chuck and Vickie were our hosts, they were great—there were fresh brownies on the counter when we arrived! They came over after we got in and visited with us, talked about the place and even shared how to use bear spray. He had a few bear sprays there at the house for us to use. There were 7 adults and we had plenty of room and ample seating. On our last night Chuck and Vickie stopped over with some fresh huckleberries for us to try. We really enjoyed our time! "

"Place was clean, extra bed set up for us with memory foam added layer, great views from the porch, basic kitchen supplies, good size fridge and cooking space with super easy quick access to Glacier. Aaron was extremely helpful in hiking recs to get us off to a great start!"

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. We spent our days at Glacier National Park and it was so nice coming back to such a cozy cabin that felt like home. The washer and dryer were an added bonus!! Simarron was very nice and always answered any questions I had prior to our trip promptly. We hope to make it back here one day!"

"Beautiful cabin in a peaceful location. Everything was just as the listing described. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Distance from the west glacier entrance and St. Mary entrance makes it the perfect “central” location!! Would definitely stay here again!! "
