"When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome."

"This was a fun break from a week of camping, and a welcome change from a hotel. Despite the unintentionally hilarious 'how to' videos for the domes, which you should watch or you won't know how to turn on the shower, the decor was tasteful, and the dome was very comfortable. Had added treat of a clear sky and could lay back and look at the stars. (Be clear that is isn't a place for kids or pets though.) Also, plan at least two nights so you can enjoy the grounds as well. "

"Beautiful place it is very nice, cozy and clean! Location is near everything. The check in instructions were very clear as well. We will be coming here everytime we comme to Nova Scotia!"

"1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . "

"This house is perfect! Very clean and LOTS of space. The layout is amazing.The kitchen had more than enough to cook or even bake, if you choose to.Very quiet neighborhood.Ideal for any kind of stay."

"The view down the short hill of the property is amazing. The house was really clean except for a few crumbs in the refrigerator and drawers. It’s in a nice area. We saw people walking every day. One of the best parts was the amazing communication from the owners. They never made us feel silly for asking questions. (Like when we couldn’t turn the volume up on the tv) The history of the church and the area is pretty neat. "

"Great location in downtown Halifax. We arrived by train and it was a short walk to the property. Comfy bed and nice shower."

"Good location - ideal for the two of us and our dog. Easy walk to the boardwalk, restaurants and shops. Comfortable place to spend a few nights and a charming building."

"Idéal pour notre famille (2 adultes, 2 enfants 1 an et 3 ans et la belle-mère). Le seul point négatif était que le spa était brisé lors de notre séjour. Mais ça n'a pas affecté la qualité de notre séjour. À proximité d'une épicerie, pharmacie et NSLC!"

"Great location!!! Close to the water and restaurants, can easily walk all downtown Halifax from there! Quick responses from Lane. Beautiful space and very clean! Highly recommend!"
