Executive Custom Log Lodge on Little Round Lake

Custom built 7,500 sq feet Wilderness Log home with 6+ bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Beautiful views of Little Round Lake, secluded and private with boat access to energetic Round Lake with bars and restaurants.

The perfect entertaining lodge. Double Ovens makes entertaining for large groups easy and efficient, with access to an enormous deck and screen porch. Oh, and the custom log bar in the basement, well there is not better place to soak in the Northwood's while indoors with great views of the lake. Enjoy the custom log shuffleboard and log poker table, or just sit back and enjoy the (very) good life.

All rooms are over-sized and offer top of the line furnishings and finishes. You really must see this property to truly appreciate its beauty and grandness.

Great for family gatherings, corporate retreats and just a reunion of friends.

Multiple restaurants and bars are accessible by boat on Round Lake, even a marina with gas to refill so you can spend all day on the water! You do have to go under the bridge to get to Round Lake, which can be a tight fit, but not far at all. We have a newer 22' pontoon boat that is available for rent as well. If the water is really high, there is a chance you might not fit, but this has not happened to us over the last 5 years.

Off the water, there is a winery and casino (age 18+) within 5 miles. There is also mini golf, go carts, log rolling and much, much more to explore!

We also have 3 kayaks (1 is a double person) and a paddle boat that are included with your rental. And again, we have to mention that we have a brand new pontoon also available for an additional charge.

In summary, Custom built Wilderness Log Home features 6 BR, 4 BA, stately family room, gourmet kitchen with island and double ovens, full log interior and accents, master suite with Jacuzzi tub, 2 laundry rooms & fully finished walkout lower level. Max guests - 16 and offers a perfect retreat for entertaining. Attached 2 car & detached 2 car garages. Tranquil setting on a quiet lake but also offers access via boat to popular Round Lake.

Gorgeous view of the lake! We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck admiring the view.House was so beautiful. The host provided everything we needed. The ping pong table and shuffle board table were a huge hit!

An excellent place for our family. We enjoyed the many areas for our family to play board games, card games and plenty of places for quiet time for our group. The extra fridge space was a luxury for our family meals. Our group enjoyed the outdoor decks and fire pit! Everything was as expected or better.

Great place to stay. Loved Round Lake and Little Round Lake. Get the pontoon with the house, it makes it so much easier and is much less expensive than the marina rentals. Plenty of cooking space, sleeping space, and especially gathering space. Swimming by the dock is not great so we got a Lilly pad to use in deeper, less weedy waters. Enjoyed our week and now we have to go back home.

Pleasant week on Little Round Lake

The cabin was spacious. The front yard was a good place for the children to run and play. Nice seating around the fire pit. We enjoyed using the pontoon and had a good time fishing. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Family Gathering

The property was clean, accommodating and provided tranquillity for our family. Beautiful property with plenty of space. There was something for everyone to do inside and out. Private beach and dock made it easily assessable to enjoy water rafts provided, as well as, some friendly fishing. We took advantage of the fire pit for the chilly evenings by the bonfire. Mike was easy to communicate with throughout and responded quickly! I’d recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to make memories with their families and friends.

Fall Break Get-away

A Wonderful Place

The Lodge exceeded our expectations. Communication with our host was very easy and response was quick. Beautifully furnished and comfortably accommodated 12 adults and one little one. Kitchen was equipped with everything. needed for cooking all our meals. Wonderful location that truly gave the Up North experience. Renting the pontoon gave us all the chance to enjoy the lake.

Heavenly Days

This trip was a year in the works as my husband and I wanted to celebrate our 80th birthdays with our favorite people in the world - our adult children and their kids. There were 14 of us. We came from Illinois, Utah, Washington State and Hawaii. The stay couldn’t have been better!!!!! We ate in most nights and the kitchen accommodated cooking and serving for 14. The “cabin” is amazing. Not only is it huge but there is ample to do in and out. The kayaks were in constant use as was the paddle boat and the pontoon which we wisely rented from the owner. There was never a dull moment and when we had questions we called the owner and he was available right away to answer them. Hayward was only 20 minutes away and it is such a fun little town. This is a must if you have a large family.

Family Gathering

We loved our stay at the lodge. It was the perfect size to allow everyone to be together but yet still able to have some space for their own. We used the kayaks daily. Didn't catch many fish but the water is outstanding and fish were pleniful...we just weren't on our fishing game. The owner, Mike was super helpful with any questions we had prior and during. We are already talking about when to book our next stay at the lodge.

Gorgeous Peaceful Amazing!

Stayed here in early May with 6 women total. This beautiful property is located at the end of a dead end road and is at the end of a peaceful lake, so our stay was very quiet & relaxing. The nature surrounding us was inspiring. We spent a lovely afternoon on the deck lounging in the Adirondack chairs - ahhh - heaven!! We were frequently happily distracted by wildlife!! The kitchen was large enough for us all to help in meal prep & we appreciated the 2 coffee makers, as we didn't all drink the same kind of coffee! The keurig was very handy for our decaf drinker. Mike, the host, was awesome to work with! Clear & efficient communications & very helpful with our group's specific needs. The large great room was a wonderful place to gather & we really enjoyed the fireplace with real wood, crackling, and warmth! We each had our own room so there was lovely privacy when needed. We all decided this was an amazing property and that we'd for sure like to return. We will plan more time for lingering outdoors and for renting the pontoon to go for a lazy putter around the lake. Thank you Mike for a wonderful stay!!!

Spacious, beautiful and perfect for a large group

We had a wonderful winter getaway with a group of 10 adults. We enjoyed all the space, cozy fireside games and perfect place to gather for meals together. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks to the host for making everything seamless.
