The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. "Block I was in had safe gated parking for £15 a night. My room was up several floors of stairs, so very glad I only had light luggage. But the room was stylish, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast in the resturant in another block over the road. Would stay again if in Southsea."

"This is easily the best hotel in Portsmouth- best location, easy included parking out front on. there own grounds. Large, traditional old hotel, but well kept. 24 hour bar for residents. Upmarket restaurant. One major drawback - no aircon in the bedrooms or the hallways stairs etc.: a big problem if you are there during a heat wave -36! - as I was. I would still book again though, but only in cooler weather."
