"Sue is an excellent host. She went above and beyond in communicating with us and making it so enjoyable. The cottage was exceptional! She provided everything we needed and more. It was so quiet. I never heard a car drive by. She made check in and check out a breeze. I highly reccomend staying at the Sweet Retreat! We'll definitely go back again, can't wait!!"

"We were looking for a place to stay for the night outside of Hilo while exploring that side of the island. This little cottage is clean, spacious and directly across the road from a beautiful, secluded black sand beach. It was magical! We would absolutely stay here again and enjoy it for a longer stay.
