  • Aquí está el adorable bungalow de playa que ha estado buscando. Ubicada en el límite sur de Laie, en la costa norte de Oahu, esta cabaña de playa de antaño fue cuidadosamente restaurada de nuevo a la original. La cabaña privada de 425 pies cuadrados tiene una terraza delantera de 150 pies cuadrados con parrilla de gas inoxidable, una mesa y sillas con dosel de tela, además de un jardín tropical con plantas nativas y flores tropicales, que se encuentra en un terreno vallado. Una gran ducha con azulejos, lavamanos doble con lavabo en el baño y aire acondicionado en todas partes, es perfecto para una escapada de luna de miel o aniversario. El LDS Temple está en Laie y una visita a Laie Point ofrece una vista espectacular de la escarpada costa. Un poco más adelante se encuentra el Área de Recreación del Estado de Malaekahana, con vistas a Goat Island y un santuario de aves marinas. El Turtle Bay Resort está a solo 10 minutos al norte con dos increíbles campos de golf diseñados por Arnold Palmer y es un lugar agradable para almorzar, tomar un cóctel o cenar. Fantastic!

This was the perfect place to enjoy our vacation. We started out in downtown Waikiki, after 2 days it was time to turn off the tourist attraction and move to the quiet and peace of this great little gem. Absolutely would recommend and will be staying here agin.

Will book again if needed

Very nice place to stay on this end of the island. Quiet and well equipped for your needs. We were visiting family and will look to book again when we return in the future if it's available.

Access to beautiful beach. Cozy & very clean.

Small north shore town & easy beach access. Property had all the amenities we require. A little highway noise, but definitely not a deal breaker. We would stay here again. Loved it!

Hidden Gem

Awesome location. Quiet, beautiful beach 25 yards away. Walked to the beach every morning with my coffee to the amazing sunrise. Drove 20 minutes up the hwy to watch the gorgeous sunset all on the same day.

Beach Bungalow

Overall a nice stay. We loved the proximity to the beach and to local amenities. We would recommend some updating to the paint, bedding, laundry, and overall cleanliness. The porch is nice and comfortable. The size of the bungalow is perfect for two people. We would definitely consider staying here again if a small amount of updating is done.

The other side of the North Shore

Cute Bungalow We loved the town, cultural center, Ken’s Fish & the beach was spectacular.. walked everyday for sea treasures. It’s in a neighborhood with other families, so expect family noises & street noise is louder with it being so close to main highway. Very close to everything - Longs drug store, grocery & food land and lots of mom pop shops. Would be great for 2 people who don’t need too much space and a nice place to stay. Or single person. Very safe to walk and explore.

Restful and Relaxing!

This intimate bungalow was in a quiet little neighborhood and so close to the beach. Greg thought of everything when it came to stocking this house. We used the beach mats and the beach towels. We used the cooler to bring lunch and snacks to the greatest free snorkeling location, Shark's Cove (much better than paying for those expensive tours). The house was a great central location to driving north to Haleiwa or south to Kailua. It was cozy, pleasant and we had an absolutely wonderful stay at the bungalow. Thank you so much, Greg! Quiet street lovely cottage

A lovely little cottage on a quiet street with ocean access. It was close to perfect. But I couldn’t get the tv to work and after three days of no help I told the owners assistant to forget about it. (I didnt think I should have to go to the Store and buy batteries for a remote that stopped working too). One morning it was chilly and I could not find any extra blankets. Otherwise all was fine. It took a little work to find food trucks and restaurants and understand their hours but food was excellent in the area

I stayed at this cottage in mid-October 2003 and was extremely impressed. It is very easy to find and is a cute, well-decorated, roomy cottage with a big bathroom and huge shower, comfortable bed, large outdoor deck and is very clean. It also has a washer/dryer, outdoor shower, A/C, dishes, silverware, etc. so you don't really need to buy anything but food to feel at home. My kids could walk to the beach in about one minute, and the beach is very pretty with fine white sand and good snorkeling. The Polynesian Cultural Center is only about a 3 minute drive away, as is a big public beach park and a McDonald's and shopping center. I would highly recommend this cottage for a couple (there's enough room for a small child, but no extra bed so you'd have to bring a crib or something). I felt like I was far away from the tourist hotels, living like a Hawaiian.

Had a wonderful vacation and your property was key to that. Thank you for hosting us! Property was as described, comfy and a short walk to the beach. Bonus feature to the house a cute outside cat that was very nice. We named her Poke.

Hidden Gem

Greg’s place boasts everything you need to enjoy some peace, quiet, beach and town, this place does not disappoint. Located on a private street, the access to the ocean was about a minute walk, while access to grocery stores was about a 5 minute walk. Greg has thought of everything from a well-stocked kitchen to access to some great toys for the beach. The bed was comfortable, the outside entrance to the shower was so convenient, the laundry facilities were awesome and the air conditioning made the whole place feel so comfortable. Book this place for a seamless stay in paradise.

10 day getaway

So I always want to leave honest reviews when I travel because it’s how I decide where I book places to stay. Overall, not a bad stay but probably wouldn’t stay again. Communication was good, a little bit of trouble entering the house and didn’t get a reply until much later but luckily we figured it out. We were also given an hour and a half later check out which was nice. The beach behind the property is phenomenal. I think it’s called bath tub beach? The sunrises made every morning incredible !! The location isn’t bad… 20-30 min to north shore, 1.5 hrs to west coast and 45-1 hr to the Waikiki area. Plenty of local food places nearby to check out and activities and the beaches nearby are all beautiful! Nice quiet neighborhood, didn’t see much of the neighbors. The street has a ton of stray cats and my boyfriend and I both like cats so we didn’t mind but one hung out on our front porch the whole time so something to consider. The last couple of days we noticed a house being fumigated a few houses down. Our last day we found 2 of the biggest cockroaches I have ever seen. I’m grateful it was the last day because I would’ve left immediately. Overall for the price it was not bad, staying in Waikiki or turtle bay would’ve been at least double the price.

Everything we needed and more!

Perfect location. Away from the craziness of the city. Beach access at the end of the lane was ideal. Sunrises were beautiful. Had plenty of snorkel gear along with body boards and beach towels. Full kitchen to make any meals and washer and dryer to do laundry! This property Is super special and will definitely be recommended to others and when I plan My next stay.

Overall nice stay

Some instructions were unclear on Vrbo. Confusing on how to enter bungalow because we had never seen a keypad on the door like that before. Could’ve used clearer instructions regarding that. Also, toaster only works is you hold the lever down the entire time. To turn tv on, make sure it’s plugged in & then you have to turn on by pushing power on side of tv AND power button on remote. Would be helpful to mention that only very small loads can be washed in washing machine at one time or it won’t work. There is a lot of traffic 24/7 on the main road but we’re from the SF Bay Area so we’re used to the noise & it didn’t bother us. Wouldn’t recommend for people that need a lot of quiet. Otherwise everything else was good.

Wonderful Cottage by the Beach

This was a wonderful cottage just a short walking distance to the beach! I loved the big fluffy white bath towels. The house was equipped with sand toys, boogie boards, coolers and beach towels...everything you needed for a fun day at the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped with the basics. We loved sitting on the patio at night. There was great tropical landscaping in the yard. All the neighbors were very friendly. It was great to have onsite free laundry. The cottage was very clean! Internet service was spotty during the week, but the host was receptive when we called. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the location and cottage

Never met host face to face so took a while to figure out the electronics. A cat lives on the deck and being allergic to cats a bit of an impact. Overall though really enjoyed the cottage and location....I'd rent again.

Incredible!

We enjoyed our stay 100% ! House was clean and had all the the amenities needed for a couple. Location was perfect. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to be outside the city. Only bummer was we didn't know the washer and dryer were shared with the neighbors. Oops!

Great location!

We had a great time! The location was close to a lot of fun things. We could see the beach from the front gate... just a few houses down. Sandy beach area and rocky corral area with lots of fun fish to see snorkeling. My husband and I took a walk on the beach before and after everything we did. We went snorkeling there almost every day. Close to Polynesian Cultural Center. Very much enjoyed our stay. If you sleep with the windows open, the street near by can be a little loud in the morning...but honestly it wasn't enough to bother us. This rental had everything we needed!

False Advertising - Read before you book

This place was not what it was advertised to be. The property is listed as private with a fenced in yard, but this building is on a larger property with a main building that has two other rentals. Every photo is strategically taken to hide that fact, and there are even photos of the main building that are not part of the unit. There is also a video camera aimed directly at the deck. I moved the angle of the camera several times, but the owner continued to redirect it, until I sent an email to VRBO. The owners response was that the camera did that automatically, but the frequency and timing of the adjustments suggest otherwise. This place is not private. The unit is also advertised as being close to the beach, which is true, but it is so much closer to the highway. This property is right next to the highway, across from a heavy equipment yard, and not quiet. The highway has constant traffic from 6AM to 9PM and we weren't even there during peak season. The unit is also listed as having a barbeque grill, this is half true, there is a small 6"x14" portable grill and you have to buy your own propane. This place simply wasn't worth the price we paid for it and if we knew all of these things we would have never booked it.

Great cozy little bungalow

Perfect for me and my new wife's honeymoon. The place was clean and organized, and the host's communication was amazing. There is a small shopping center, and small restaurants within a short walk as well, and the bus stop is very near if you don't have a car. If you are staying here, and the weather isn't great, it is probably better on the other side of the island. Of course, the weather it out of everyone's control, so plan accordingly. We may try to stay here again if it is available for our next vacation.

Anniversary in paradise

Charming north shore bungalow for a honeymoon, anniversary, or romantic couples getaway. It's really just few short steps to a nearly private beach. My husband and I would have hours on the beach without seeing another person. The bungalow was well-equipped and clean. It's small-ish but plenty of space for a couple (or a couple with one baby or toddler). It's just short walk/drive to a local grocery store. Get the mac nut pancakes at Papa Ole's which is in the same center as the grocery store! Our only hiccup was internet service disruption on 3 days. I wouldn't even mention it but it cramped my hubby's style. Book it! You won't regret it!

So disappointed

We were so looking forward to this stay but WHAT A HUGE disappointment ☹️The photos that came up we’re NOT what it was. The only thing the same was the front of the house. Nothing inside was the same photos. There were gouges the the walls, stains on the sheets and some weird red stuff on the flooring. I had told the host I had family living in Mililani and wanted to be close to her. It was an hour drive away. The towels for the bathroom were what I use a rags, AWFUL! You can’t leave any windows open at night because you are right next to the very busy highway. ( As loud as a freeeway) I contacted the host and he didn’t seem to care and made NO effort to HELP. I would Not recommend This please ever.
