"Had a few communication problems, delays in replying and incorrect telephone number. Despite that, the property is lovely & ideally placed for town centre and beach. Stairs and parking/unloading of car may prove an issue for some people, just to be aware. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay."

"The lodge was exactly as described. Surrounded by a large green garden and woodland and hedgerow. It is off the beaten track but this made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Waking in the morning to see a deer grazing was an absolute treat. Also got visited by a Pheasant as well as a very healthy looking fox!! A previous review mentioned some dodgy Wifi, but after bumping into the lovely owner of the property it got resolved, so absolutely no complaints at all. Did not go there for Wifi anyway!...

"We had an amazing time here. The barn is furnished to an excellent standard and there was no scrimping on the mod cons. We had everything we needed. The views were glorious and the little touches went a long way. Would absolutely recommend this property to all- excellent value for money. Stayed with my elderly father who is on palliative care and the one level, warm property made it easy to look after him. It’s in a central location for beaches and so many areas of beauty. Will definitely come...

"Our family had a wonderful time at West Bay staying at 2 Driftwood. The accommodation was clean, warm and situated in the heart of the town. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and the jetty. It is such a pretty place, the view along the beach is stunning and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. I recommend staying here."

It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our brief stay - including milk in the fridge for morning teas. "We loved our stay in Westgate. Mark was an excellent host and the accommodation was clean and well equipped. All rooms were spacious and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchens were modern and good quality. The entire flat was well lit and the surrounding grounds and countryside provide stunning views. The property is close to the A35 but the sound of traffic is barely audible inside the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future. Thank you."
