"Property is well kept. Smells amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and replenished as needed. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking garage is a plus and location was easily accessible and quiet. Would stay again"

"The location was convenient for our needs. It was quiet. The listing did not let you know that you had to leave your room for your “private “ bath. The listing stated there was air conditioning, there was a fan. Wayne was friendly and personable."

"The entry to the bed and breakfast was through the owner's residence. The state of the entry probably should have given a clue about the cleanliness of the rooms. The floors in the hallway looked as though they hadn't seen a vacuum in a year. Layers of dust on the furniture in the room, and floors that were not cleaned prior to my arrival. The shared bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the shower curtain was covered in pink mold. An old used facecloth hung inside the shower. I made this reservation...

"This is a gem of a place. I have stayed at the abner many times and am delighted to say it is always a treat. The hotel is warm charming sparkling clean and perfectly located with shopping and dining just outside your doors. The rooms are comfortably appointed with all the extras of a posh stay . The breakfast is a must and don’t skip the frittata. Dinner is a cozy culinary experience with an ample menu to cover many tastes but dine exquisitely. If open do not miss out on the rooftop lounge...

"Lovely grounds, well maintained rooms, very pleasant staff and excellent breakfast, and the main house is a beautiful vintage estate house. I stayed in a separate building with a relaxing common area. It would have been nice to have coffee/tea available in room or in the common area (rather than have the short walk to the office area) to get coffee in the morning, particularly in inclement weather."

"Noisy air conditioner unit. Sounds like a tractor trailer parked outside your window."

"The room smelled like urine upon entrance, the wall was covered in yellow streaks. I cleaned up with cleaning products but still can smell it. The bathtub was also quite clogged... We came to visit family spent 2 nights. Luckily the bed was ok and we only went there to sleep. Would not stay again ... We only booked it since some reviews were good after their renovations. Do not recommend to others"

When I finally arrived at 8:30PM the woman behind the counter said “your room isn’t ready yet.” She then told me the TV and the AC in my room did not work!! "The modern touch for USB and extra outlets was fantastic, especially once I learned to use them. I'm 79 and a bit slower on the uptake on this, but everything was fine."

"Something that I like and have not seen in the first many hotels I stayed in. The door stayed open where I wanted it to be. It didn’t close shut on me when I was carrying the luggage in and out of the room. That made moving the luggage so much easier 🙂"
