"Wayne and Kim were very accommodating and very personable to talk to. The breakfast was yummy (especially the Cabot Greek yogurt), and the house is quaint and quiet. I would come back again and easily recommend this bed and breakfast to friends and family."

"Staff is excellent as is the decor and service both at the hotel, restaurant and rooftop. Not well known but the air conditioning in the room can be very loud and there are no TV’s in the room. The street is very walkable and there are several excellent restaurants within a quick walk or 10 min drive. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely- as was the restaurant. Great long weekend stay! "

"The Inn is on a lovely piece of property with trees, grass, flowers. The bathroom was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and there was a common area "living room" that had a fridge for guests to place things and a microwave. The pool is fabulous (though it could use some more chaise lounges, there were only 2). The breakfast was truly delicious, made to order every morning. "The Manor House Inn is outstanding. It is unique and special. We had never stayed at an Inn like this and were blown away. The entire Inn was spotless and Blair was a lovely hostess. We attended a concert at the Infinity Hall which is within walking distance. Breakfast was included and it was fresh and delicious, served in a charming dining area. Norfolk is a quiet town and the Inn was a great find!"

"The staff was super friendly. Our room was large and immaculate. The free breakfast had more items than I usually eat going out for breakfast (not and cold items). The pool and whirlpool were awesome, had great music playing and no one was there. Will definitely go back."

"Immaculate, huge room! Enter through the kitchen living room area with a desk facing a window with phone & device recharging. Around the corner was a king size bed and ample room for the sink outside the toilet walk in shower. Highly recommend."

"Wonderful 19th century inn! We had a spacious corner room with pullout sofa. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful balcony. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet stay. As long as you are not expecting a modern, chain-brand property, and have a car, you will enjoy this place! Note, The Old Inn is almost 2 miles from the delicious breakfast spot and about a 16 minute drive to Great Barrington, which is the closest town. "The staff members were very attentive and very respectful. 5 stars to them, give those fine folks a raise!!! Didn't care for the area though, I was racially discriminated against just standing out on the sidewalk along Asylum street. I dont plan on ever coming back to Hartford but if by some act of God, I had to c9me back no matter what, Id stay at the Goodwin."

"It was extremely convenient since the car rentals are closed when we get in. Shuttle to the hotel, and back the next day to the airport for car rental. Very easy. Good breakfast too."
