"We stayed in Barley Cottage across the road from the hotel. It was fantastic for the 4 of us that stayed there. Staff are very attentive. The food in the hotel was excellent. "WOW! What a brilliant little place!!! Tucked away on the edge of a pretty little market town, the facilities and attention to detail are flawless! This is the perfect place for a couples getaway! The pub next door serves good food and offers friendly service. We will certainly be making a return visit and would recommend Stables to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway"

"The hotel had lots of character. We couldnt fault the room. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The little touches like fresh milk and drinks in the fridge on arrival. Packed lunch every mornimg of our stay. Ideal location for exploring. The pianist in the restaurant in the evening was lovely.The food was very good."
