"We were in the Burg for the JMU Thursday night football game. This place was perfect. Just outside of town. Easy drive to campus. Enjoyed a pregame glass of wine down by the pond. Hosts were accommodating. Place is just as advertised. One thing to note, the driveway is easy to miss. We drove by it twice before we found it. "

"It was perfect place to stay for my son’s JMU graduation. I wish I had found it before he graduated. I loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the fresh air and country side with the family. The host was so sweet and kind and we found out we knew some of her family from Chesapeake, VA ! It is a small world."

"We loved staying at this house! The sunrise was amazing! There was plenty of room for our family! Thank you!"

"The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...

"We had an amazing time at this property! The house was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close enough to everything we needed, but still peaceful and relaxing. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience stress-free. Whether we were enjoying our mornings on the patio or winding down in the cozy living room, it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"This is a great house. Super convenient to JMU. 30 minute walk to downtown Harrisonburg with plenty of sidewalks and crosswalks. Very quiet neighborhood right next to a great park with tennis and pickleball courts, lighted basketball court and walking paths. Big fenced in backyard with fire pit. You can hear the traffic from 81, but it’s like background noise. Kitchen was well stocked, property was very clean and had plenty of parking. We would definitely stay here again. "
