"My stay at the Red Roof Inn was overall great. The room was comfortable, clean, and the staff was friendly. The only issue I had was with the early check-in policy. I called a day before arriving and was told by one employee that there would be no fee for early check-in, but when I arrived, another worker charged me for it. That was disappointing because I was given different information beforehand. Aside from that misunderstanding, my stay was pleasant."

"A beautiful and historic property that is unique and special in every way. The staff were delightful, friendly, helpful and generous. The furnishings exquisite and well maintained. There was a clean atmosphere that was a surprise given the age of the hotel, and it’s in a city that has lots of humidity where you normally would find a moldy smell there was none! Much appreciated for someone who has allergies. I wish I didn’t have such a late check-in because I wasn’t able to appreciate all that...

"I have been in this area a lot and never gave any attention to the hotel. I am moving out of my apartment that is a few miles away and did not like the look or reputation of several hotels in the area. I did book another cheaper hotel in the area. My wive was very uncomfortable with what she had heard, and possibly saw in the parking lot. When we got to our room, she really did not feel save or comfortable. "Beautiful property but there wasn’t extra toilet paper and Kleenex in the room and the bathroom shelf wasn’t secure. It was also pretty warm and we didn’t have individual control of our room temp. A mini fridge would have gone a long way. There was also no tea in the lobby. I would stay there again in the spring or fall. "

"The location was pretty remote but so was the location I was attending. There isn't a bar in the hotel nor a real restaurant.So dining and meetings need to be at other locations. Breakfast was good"
