Welcome to a Classic stay on the Lake! There's so much to enjoy with private dock, outdoor firepit, grill, large deck, full kitchen, free fast WIFI, in house laundry, Roku tv, kayaks, paddleboat, games, bicycles, and more.

This house is on the Chain-Of-Lakes including Sand Lake, Icehouse Lake, Boathouse Lake, Townline Lake and Haven Lake.  Beautiful views of the water can be enjoyed from your private dock, the fire ring in the back lawn, the spacious wrap around deck, or the large windows providing a view from inside.  An open concept kitchen, dining, and living area face the water, and open onto the deck. You can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace with the flip of a switch in the cooler months, or capture the summer breeze off the water in the warmer months.  Fishing, both winter and summer, is a popular sport, with access to five lakes right out your door.  A boat launch is on your way to the property, just a short way down the street. Two kayaks, and a paddle boat are available for you to use, and 4 life vests are provided.  Basic summer fishing equipment is also available, along with yard games and a couple of bicycles.  Grill out, relax on the deck, and go for a swim.  The house is 2 bedroom, 1 bath.  There's a queen bed in one room, and a bunk with queen on bottom and twin on top in the other.  An air mattress is available for additional sleeping space.  Linens, blankets, towels, and laundry facilities are provided. The bathroom is recently updated and is clean and modern. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cutlery, utensils, pans, coffee makers, crockpot, toaster, blender, microwave, full size refrigerator, and range. A large smart TV with ROKU and fast WIFI provide additional entertainment and working ability. A folding desk provides a customizable work space - put it wherever you feel like working for the day, even on the deck!

It was a great experience the enviorment is very quiet but also very live place to be right off the water me and my son went kayaking and also enjoyed some of the goodies that came with the property would recommend if you rlooking for a getaway from stress of busy city life

Trying to charge me $100 for so-called cigarette smell in the house preposterous. I want proof there is no proof or she would have sent me the pictures I know what kind of brand of cigarette I smoke .show me the evidence which you don't have. Good luck

Family Trip

My kids and I enjoyed the three night at the classic on the lake. It was very quiet environment. The house was very clean, check in was very smooth. The only downside is we couldn’t rent a pontoon, all boat rentals were booked or they don’t deliver to the lake. We used what’s available in the house which was a Patel boat and kayak which was fun too, but we prefer a pontoon. Overall it was a great trip.

Great stay!

My wife and I spent 4 nights here and enjoyed them all. We fished each of the five lakes, enjoyed coffee on the deck while the loons swam by and grilled out a couple of nights too! We also took our boat to a couple of other lakes in the area and had a day in Harrison thrift shopping and trying a couple of the restaurants. The stay was very comfortable and having everything we needed already there meant our packing list was short. Great cozy spot with things to do and quiet enough for a lot of R&R as well.

Classic Vacation

The property was clean, warm and welcoming! All of the comforts of home with plenty of amenities. This cabin had something for everyone in our group. Highly recommend this property if you want a quiet, carefree get away. You will not be disappointed.

Property listing was accurate - many amenities were provided which is a big plus including access to paddle boat and kayaks. Property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Great communication and responses from Ruth. Very relaxing and enjoyable space !

Fishing trip weekend

Came here for a long weekend of fishing because of the ability to fish five lakes. Had a great weekend with excellent weather and fishing. Cottage was everything described. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Ruth is a great host, quick with responses to any questions.

Cute and clean!

Lovely place on the water! We stayed for our anniversary weekend and enjoyed this home very much. Steaks on the charcoal grill and kayaks in the water, perfect! My only suggestion is to put a small dresser in each bedroom as there is nothing to set your luggage on or put into. The large deck is great for enjoying the water and fresh air.

Lake front fishing trip

A friend and I spent a week at the waterfront rental and were very comfortable. From check in to check out everything went super smooth. The house was clean comfortable and well stocked with everything needed for a perfect week. We fished several lakes in the area and never more than a few minutes drive from great fishing. We both said we would love to stay here again. Hats off to Ruth!!

Great Cabin

A very nice cabin on the water. While the weather was not the best on the first half of our stay there was plenty of things to keep us busy in the cabin, games and reading. The outside deck was a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by once the weather straightened out.

Adorable, cozy cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Very thoughtfully stocked kitchen and closets ( blankets, towels, games and puzzles). A warm fire and snack basket was ready for us when we arrived. We had a wonderful stay!!

Great getaway!

This was our 2nd trip to the Classic on the Lake and we will be back! Such a clean cute lake house! Love everything about the house, lakes, and area! Ruth is so nice and takes really good care of everything. We really enjoy using the paddle boat and kayaks. So much to explore with all the small lakes connected!
