"A clean, quiet and safe vintage motel. Mediocre heat and A/C, but no worse than most inexpensive motels. There are two or three decent taverns in town offering meals, and a good diner for breakfast."

"The pool was definitely a plus. Especially for kids. Everything was great, except the shower barely had any hot water. Our door to our room looked like someone was trying to break in at some point, but it was probably because of the latch on the inside."

"Excellent Room and nice quiet surroundings. The pool looked inviting but didn't get the opportunity to enjoy. I had only one thing come up - in the morning around 5 am, I smelled an unpleasant odor that came from - the kitchen, I believe or the exhaust. I could smell a mix of smells, and I just turned the fan on consistently and it seemed to be some better, but maybe an exhaust thing or a "new filter" needed? I really don't know. "Staff was excellent. The manager was extremely helpful and honest. My 7 year old grandson helping load up the truck opened his wallet to get room key. Not noticing that his money he was saving fell out and was in the grass. A few hours after we where headed back to ST Louis, he called us and said that he found some money by our room with an outside entrance. Reviewed his security camera and seen it fall out of grandsons wallet We made arrangement to get the $180.00 back. I return to...
