"The cabin was exactly what was listed. The host was one of the best that I’ve ever met. Very personable. He made it a point to talk to us to make sure everything was ok. Showed us some other spots on the property that looked to be amazing as well. I highly recommend to give this a try. If you like the outdoors and great customer service, you’ll be very happy here. "Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough...

"We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). The WiFi worked the whole time we were there which was very helpful when mapping out our hikes. Plenty of...

"The property was very clean, and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed!
The decor was dated (80s), the towels were pretty worn, the outside property could use some TLC (to make it more inviting), and the twin beds were uncomfortable.
But to me, the cleanliness was the most important! Thanks!"
