"This place was amazing. The staff were great. Loved the specialized attention that was provided. It felt like you were coming home to family every night. Loved the wine and appetizers, free full breakfast every morning, nothing was lacking. Liked it was a way from the noise of all the tourist. We will be back. Don’t waste your money on any other place. "

"This is by far my favorite hotel in Charleston and I stayed a lot of hotels. Staying here is like staying with friends. You feel thought about, taken care of, and it has an apartment feel not a hotel feel. The Jeep driving you around locally is definitely a plus and always pleasant plus the warm cookies at night and the breakfast in the morning… Cannot say enough good things."

"We had a great stay at the Quarters on King. They were able to check us in early, which was really helpful. The apartment was also beautiful and comfortable. That said, King Street is incredibly noisy during the weekend, so bring earplugs! "

"We loved staying at the Nicolas. The room was so cozy and comfortable and the lobby was equipped with seltzer and snacks. Great location but off the main drag so the hotel was very quiet. "

"We had a great stay at this Drury. The room was quiet and comfortable. The food for breakfast and the 5:30 Kickback was good and plentiful. We had no trouble with waiting times for the bar drinks. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub with the planes flying over. "

"Beautiful spacious room with a balcony . Fully updated but still had an old world charm to it . The bathroom was spotless, bed was super comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome with a complimentary bottle of champagne . The only thing that needed an upgrade was their tv - it was too small for the room and no Netflix etc available. The hotel has an excellent location too, walkable to the waterfront and kings street etc"

"Cleaning staff, valets, and front desk personnel were most kind, friendly and extremely hospitable. Tour of lobby's art exhibit was led by a woman (whose name escapes me) who arranged the exhibit and answered my many questions about each painting/ art piece and the artist who creeated it. The night manager, Gregory, was especially friendly and helpful to me on the night I arrived. We chatted at length."

"The Emeline Hotel is very unique. We got upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was a wonderful surprise. They have a great coffee place inside and a small shopping area - big bar and sitting area outside. There sister hotel is the Ryder - so they give you drink tokens and you can get a free drink and sit near the pool if you wish. They did not charge us for valet parking -- which was super cool something to do with our status but yet The Ryder Hotel DID CHARGE 55.-- for parking plus resort...
