"The house was sparkling clean and decorated so nicely. Check-in/out was a breeze. We loved that the property was lakefront and dog friendly. We utilized the dock every day to fish (and caught some nice ones too!), made s'mores around the fire pit and took the kayaks out to explore the lake. We used the grill a few times and ate out on the deck, which was so nice. The kitchen is well stocked with nice cookware and every gadget you need to make a meal. "Spent the weekend in this cozy loft wiht my husband and grandson! To start, communication with the owner Jesse, was excellent! When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised this listing was spot on with its description! The loft was welcoming, clean and refreshing! Beds were comfortable, fireplace made for a nice relaxing evening after skiing and snowboarding all day!! My grandson, loved the loft where his room was! "We had a great stay at Darlene's place, only wish we could have spent more time. Very convenient to ski resorts. It was snowing when we arrived and having the ability to make a real fire (lots of wood provided!) was ideal! The teens loved the hot tub and the games upstairs. Thanks for having us! "

"We stayed here with some family while in town for a funeral. Check-in was simple and straightforward. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and the place was as advertised. We didn’t have time to try out the foosball table or any of the games available, but appreciated them as options. They had a nice selection of snacks available for guests. Overall, we would recommend this place. "

"The place was not clean, who knows when was the last time they vacuumed the carpets. Some rooms smelled mold. The only thing we were satisfied is that was big house and everyone had their own room. Joshua would respond right away with any questions."

"The owner-couple have restored and maintained this beautiful historical mansion, a part of Scranton's once-central role in the economy of the North-East, to create a perfect venue for group gatherings. "Great for a romantic night away. Not a family spot. No family room to comfortably hang out but a great place to sleep and nice for a couple interested in exploring the area. Very vintage and pretty. Super nice people run this establishment!!"
