"Property has been there for many years. However, the rooms look like they were recently remodeled. Nicely painted and bathrooms look newly remodeled. New flooring as well. We had room on the third floor. Was quiet and had two queens. The view looked out towards the beach. We could see the beach and ocean between the buildings. I’d stay here again."

"What an interesting place to stay in SF. The owner and assistant were so much fun, interesting and helpful. In a location in mid-south ish part of the city close to everything we wanted to do. We will recommend this spot to anyone that wants a bed and breakfast and/or something with tremendous history, nice room and bathroom with everything you could need. "

"I have stayed here twice now and absolutely love the location and the double king rooms they offer, very spacious! There was no parking available in the onsite lot but was understandable due to checking in late in the night. There is a parking garage only a few blocks away so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience."

"The evening staff is really wonderful. His name is Bill and he’s just a really genuine nice guy. The day staff seems nice too. I just didn’t interact with them quite as much – I stayed there when I didn’t have power for four days. I would say the only downside is if you have a car it’s probably not a great place to park your car at night but if you don’t have a car, it’s pretty perfect in terms of location and it’s really cute; the rooms look like they spent a lot on maintaining the character of...

"Rooms were clean and included a very nice kitchen facility. The one missing item was Kleenex or equivalent tissues. It was a rainy evening, and the noise of traffic on a wet road was quite loud, albeit acting as white noise for getting to sleep. The staff was great. "
