"The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. "I can't recommend the Bailiffgate Hotel highly enough. The staff are all so lovely. Our concierge, Kevin, was a delight. The team seem to be like family, they work together in such a friendly way. The building, a former school that's been extended, is absolutely stunning! Our room was really spacious. The gorgeous bathroom had a freestanding bath, as well as a walk in shower. Breakfast was delish - excellent choices and cooked to order. We'll be back! "

"The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard."

Across the road from bus stop coastal route to Berwick on Tweed & Newcastle via coastal towns and villages. 20 mins bus ride away from Alnmouth station with trains to Berwick and Edinburgh. I had a wonderful week there. "
