Absolutely amazing

Wonderful location with incredible views

Somerset was a wonderful place for a family vacation. With such a great beach and launching pad for day trips, we did spend too much time inside.

Lovely Log Cabin

My friends, my husband, and I really enjoyed our stay here. The private beach has many rocks for inspecting, lovely views, and the house has all the amenities you'd need.

Peace and Quiet

Had another great stay at Sommerset. In the several years we've stayed there, we are never disappointed. Sunsets, lake view, walks on the beach, comfortable well appointed cottage,and quiet surroundings are always what you get when you stay there.

An Exceptional Rental

Our family enjoyed one of our best vacations ever while staying at this property. The home is absolutely beautiful and the location provides serenity and the beauty of Northern Michigan. Our family loved the beach area, access to the state park next door, and the many golf courses in the area.

Great beach

The cabin was accurately portrayed in the pictures . We have been to beaches all over the US and this beach holds up to any of them .

Incredibly peaceful. Cabin is very well maintained with a number of updates since our prior stay in 2014.

Perfect

Sommerset cabin was exactly as described and we spent a wonderful week enjoying the beach and dunes. We’ve stayed in several cabins on Lake Michigan in the Cross Village area and this was the nicest one we’ve stayed in. Thanks for sharing your beautiful accommodations!

Overall a fantastic property Remote but perfect location for day trips to mackinaw. Owners very helpful and responsive. House was clean and well stocked. Nice beach access

We truely enjoyed our stay at this cottage.

It's practically at the end of the civilization, but not quite because this cabin has wireless service. The beach is gorgeous.

Perfect Location

Our family loved this house and location. Perfect sandy beach that the kids and dog loved. Water was beautiful with a nice sandbar the kids can hang out at. The house was clean and cozy with nice sized bedrooms. All in all we had a nice quiet vacation and will definitely be renting here again next year.

Great beachfront property

Great location right on Lake Michigan. So unusual to find something this private right on the lake, the beach was beautiful. Sommerset Lake House was super clean and well equipped and Mark was great to work with--a really great host.
