"Was a great hotel on the beach. Views are wonderful from the balcony. Will use this hotel again next time I am in Corpus Christi. Only about 10 minutes from the central hub of South Padre Island Drive for more restaraunt varieties and normal shopping. The hotel has a surf shop located directly beside it, a pub grill directly in front of it and a seafood 3 story restarunt a few places down from it, as well as the battleship museum and Texas aquarium. "This hotel is HORRIBLE!! Save your money and stay somewhere else. To start, it took over 20 minutes to check-in because there was ONE guy working the desk and he had absolutely no pep in his step. He talked to one lady for 10 minutes AFTER she was checked in and ready to leave because they started talking about insurance (unrelated to visit), a vacation he had coming up, and then about something he pulled up on his phone. When we did check in our $335 room we reserved on Expedia turned into...

"It's a Budget Inn, you're staying because you need a place to stay and sleep with basic expectations. It's what I expected. Parking was fine, the room was fine. It had a large fridge, coffee maker, and microwave which many pricer hotels stopped offering because they expect you to pay for their own onsite services. "The location is great. But the room and the overall building are very old and outdated. Room is a good size, but not clean. Stain marks on the bed skirt. Part of the building seemed to be falling apart. I am amazed that it is still operating. Won't stay again. "

"The condo was very uncomfortable. The sofa in the living room was very low to the floor when you sat on it you could actually feel the wood frame. There was no comfortable seating. The bed was old very soft. We woke up the first morning and found a dead cockroach by the bed. The floors were in terrible condition. The patio door was difficult to open because it was so rusty "
