"Quiet retreat atmosphere. But also not located near anything so a bit isolated. You get your own casita with your own patio. Beautiful except for shower/tub which is difficult to access if you have mobility issues. Apart from that perfect. Breakfast is perfectly fine but not amazing as it is in other 5 star hotels. Coorg food is restaurant was great. Dont order the pizza! Spa is great. Had 2 massages and both great. "

"Excellent stay - would rate 5 star. Staff very friendly. Would like to praise Parmeen, Muskan and Anushka for their hospitality. Forgot the staffs name at the dining area. Excellent service. If I have to pick one draw back - then its AC - it went off when we came back to the resort."

"As it is very small property it is not that great and sad thing is even for indoor games quite a few games has to paid. In restaurant we were not allowed to have food peacefully, very often they use to come and ask for clearing plates. "

"No AC after being charged almost 5 star rates per night. Even though property is well maintained the absence of AC’s makes it a deal breaker and lack of 24x7 room service. Maybe good for old couples who want to go there and sleep only."

"Excellent and spacious rooms, Great atmosphere. Good facility. They need to improve the food quality and service. We enjoyed our stay at caligo."

"The property is lovely and quiet and safe. The staff was very homely. We had a 2 years baby with us, and they served us hot milk and water till late night.. loved the aura of the place.. highly recommended it. Also, every touristy place is max 30 mins away."

"The hotel was overbooked but the Manager of the Hotel Joseph contacted us in advance to inform about the situation and offered to book us in at a Home stay. Since we were going only for the weekend, I accepted the offer. The rooms at Home stay were spacious with a good view. For all the trouble Joseph offered us a comp fire place which we enjoyed as it gets cold over night in Coorg. "The property is quite close to the city and hence makes it very easy for dinning, shopping and viewing various spots. On the downside I felt the sheets are not clean with lots of stains. Though the breakfast is good, they make you feel like you are eating a lot and we haven't paid for it and question to make us feel guilty, was a bit embarrassing. Parking is not easy, they will keep calling at way too unusual hours like 11pm to move the car as they don't have enough space."
