A Rural Getaway

Clean and tidy property. A great place to get away from it all, but also able to do day trips if you wish. Great farm views and a river not far away. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Absolutely loved our stay, worked perfectly for what we needed & has absolutely everything you need

Overall we were very happy with everything. Worked well and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of kitchenware and water pressure.

Great mid winter getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is well set up for a big family group and being able to bring the dog was a real plus. Simon was very friendly and helpful and the kids loved walking the farm tracks and interacting with the animals. The wood fire was most welcome - especially during a power cut!

Hidden Gem .... Amazing place to spend holiday

The trip took us out of the Gisborne City on the Tiniroto suburb as we headed through picturesque rolling hills and farm lands. What an amazing place to enjoy a long weekend with family and celebrate a lil one's birthday. We enjoyed our trip to the core. Sally & Simon are so kind and loving property managers live close by and be there any time we need them. Place is extremely tidy and very presentable just like home away from home. Thanks a lot we will definitely visit again

Ideal rural family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Mahaanui Quarters... well set up, affordable family accommodation in a beautiful farm setting. We found Sally and Simon warm and friendly, and appreciated their relaxed approach letting the kids explore some of the surrounding farm:-).

Breath taking spot

Couldn't ask for a better experience than this!! The house was clean, tidy, well equipped which is perfect for family/ groups. Communication was easy and we were welcome with some delicious slices. Still couldn't get over how beautiful the place is. It might be a drive from the main tourist area, but it was so worth it. Will definitely come back again!!

Well worth the drive

Well worth the drive. A relaxing, warm homeaway from home. Everything was provided as stated on the webpage. All we needed to bring was ourselves and food. Stunning location with amazing views. Thank you so much. We will be back again and for longer.

Wonderful time in this gorgeous place!

This place was amazing. Steve and Sally were the best hosts ever! From lending us boards, bringing their kayaks down to the river for us to use or showing us sheep shearing. We loved it! A++++
