"The property was convenient to all restaurants, and the shore path. Had a nice out door live music from 12noon to 5pm. Beautiful outdoor sitting area and the Inn itself is just inviting to look at. Not a big hotel look. Muffins in the morning were to die for. "

"I've booked the last room over the Memorial Day Weekend when we've decided to leave the campground due to cold temperatures. It was the best decision and beautiful, welcoming and affordable place in the prime location. If I ever have a chance to return to Acadia it will be Anchorage Motel only. "This is an excellent B&B! Chris, the host, makes everyone feel at home and relaxed, it truly is like a home away from home. It is located really close to all of the downtown restaurants, shops and waterfront and it was so nice not having to worry about finding a parking spot in a busy Bar Harbor. The Sandbar is a place where you just want to stay, maybe stay forever, if it were only possible! "
